Now that VidZone has been patched to include VidZone TV, this week’s update includes a list of new content you can find. VidZone Launches ‘VidZone TV’
Less than a year since VidZone launched on June 11 2009, the team are extremely excited to announce VidZone TV. VidZone has racked up over 3 million users since it was released, with over 350 million videos streamed. The new addition, VidZone TV, features over 100 music TV channels all of which can be played back on demand.
VidZone Update for Feb 23rd 2010
This week, VidZone has been updated with lots of new videos including Art vs Science, DJ Zinc ft Ms Dynamite, Shakira and Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. Lemar is the Artist of the Month for the UK and Ireland, Tété in France, George Michael in Australia and New Zealand, and Pitbull in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
VidZone Update for Jan 21st 2010
This week on VidZone, a selection of Hip-Hop Classics are available with the likes of Nas, Xzibit and Outkast. Other new playlists include Escape Winter, featuring Scissor Sisters and Beach Boys. Overall, not a whole load of new playlists this week but a large number of new videos have been added to VidZone.
VidZone Hits 2 Million Downloads Milestone
VidZone has hit another major milestone since it was launched back in June 2009. Its taken VidZone exactly five months to rack up another million downloads, bringing the total to over 2 million downloads in total. VidZone is “officially the biggest dedicated music video streaming application in the world”, according to Ben Creasy, Head of Production for VidZone.
Groove Armada Rock PlayStation Home on Dec 3rd 2009
To celebrate the launch of Groove Armada’s fantastic new Black Light album, in association with VidZone, the Presentation Podium will be re-opened on December 3rd 2009(at dusk) with a brand-new mini-game, new (exclusive) rewards and of course, exclusive music content & interview footage from the inimitable Groove Armada.
VidZone Update for Nov 19th 2009
This week on VidZone, a brand new Lady GaGa video is available for viewing as well as new playlists. Alicia Keys’ new single “Doesn’t Mean Anything” is also available for viewing as well as Powderfinger’s new single “All of the Dreamers”. Both Alicia and Powderfinger are this week’s featured artists. New playlists include the Celebrity Playlist and Total Dance.
VidZone Expands to 11 New Countries
Over the coming weeks VidZone expands across Europe, allowing a further 11 countries to use the service. Starting from next Thursday, 26th November, VidZone will be released available to PS3 owners in Netherlands, Portugal and Austria. In December, 8 further countries will be added to the list – check out the release dates below. Unfortunately, still no word on when the service will be available in North America and elsewhere.

This week on VidZone, Wolfmother, The Prodigy and Take That are the artists of the week. You can find a exclsuvie The Prodigy interview this week, along with a Wolfmother playlist including all their hits and their soon to be a hit new single “New Moon Rising”. New playlists include Back to the 80’s, 21st Century Rock and Hottie Videos.
VidZone Exclusive: Tiësto – “Escape Me”
VidZone has bagged another exclusive video – the DJ / Producer Tiësto. The Dutch dance super heavyweight is exclusive in all VidZone Territories, apart from the UK and Ireland. The video will be available very shortly after in all territories, though. The video is now available to view and the single is out on November 23rd 2009.
