This week on the US Video Store, catch the new release thriller “State of Play,” starring Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams and Helen Mirren, available now for rent and to own. How to Fix the Yellow LED of Death
The Yellow LED/Light of Death (or YLOD) on the PlayStation 3 indicated a hardware failure. It’s similar to the Red Ring of Death (RROD) on the Xbox 360 but less common, according to Sony. It’s frustrating if you have ever experienced this problem before, as you cannot start up your PS3 or even eject the disc. The YLOD can mean one of several things: faulty power supply, disconnected CPU/GPU, fan/cooling failure, or excess dust/dirt.

Also, new this week to PlayStation Store: free trailers, XMB theme, and wallpaper for GAMER, in theaters September 4, 2009. For those in Europe, the Video Store will be launching in selected countries in November! As for this week’s top ten, Obsessed is in first place (up from 3rd place), 17 Again takes second place and Dragonball: Evolution drops to 3rd placce, from 1st place last week.
