This week on the PlayStation Store, you will find a huge update in time for Christmas. The GT Academy 2010 Time Trial is now available to download in Europe and the GT5 Time Trial Demo is available in both Europe and US. New DLC is available for SOCOM: Confrontation and Brutal Legend. Tomorrow, PlayStation Home gets a massive update, including three new spaces and a bevy of brand new items. First up, we have a brand new SCEE event coming to you tomorrow themed around the awesome retro PSN shooter Gravity Crash, aptly titled: Gravity Crash: Maze to the Mothership! Also, the first wave of LittleBigPlanet content hits Home with a set of new clothes and branded furniture.
Life with PlayStation was updated today to version 1.2. The biggest addition to the application is support for video playback and photo slideshows. Video playback will likely be the first change you encounter as the United Village channel now has videos available. The PlayStation Network Game Trailers Channel has been added to the application too. This channel lets you view trailers for games on the PlayStation Store and read additional information about them.
This week on the PlayStation Video Store, there are 10 new movies available to download from the UK Video Store, and a whole load of new movies and TV content from the US Store. You can download Outer Space Astronauts S1 – Diplomatic Hat and the Salt Theatrical Trailer for free from the US Store.

On Tuesday, SCEA and a number of their publishing partners (2K, Capcom, EA, SEGA, and Square-Enix) filled a SoHo art gallery with many of the best games you’ll be playing in early 2010. Before things kicked off, Sony Santa Monica Studios’ Director of Development John Hight showed off a brand new scene from God of War III. Unfortunately, Sony won’t be making the video public until January. In the mean time, check out the update video below.
This week on the PSP PlayStation Store a number of new games are available from the European Store, including Tekken 6 and Avatar. Three Metal Gear Solid titles are also available for download too. The US Store has a number of new titles too, including Silent Hill: Origins, and the two Death Jr. titles. This week on the PlayStation Store, Call of Duty Classic is available to download from the European Store. On the US Store, PixelJunk Shooter is now available to download along with other new titles. There are three new playable demos on the US Store and one new one on the European Store. In addition, both stores have a Uncharted The Eye of Indra Skins and Comics Bundle, giving you two multiplayer skins for Uncharted 2 and all four episodes of the motion comic.
SCEE has confirmed that PlayStation 3 Firmware v3.15 will be available to download soon. Firmware 3.15 will be an optional update with two key features: PS3 Data Transfer and PSP Minis Compatibility. On the UK Store, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country is now available to purchase as well as a number of other titles.
