Not a lot of new titles are available on the PSP Store this week. Europe has three new downloadable titles available for purchase along with a new minis title. Game add-on content includes new LittleBigPlanet costume and level kit, and an update to Buzz! Quiz World. Finally, you will gind a new theme and wallpaper available for download.
This week on the UK PlayStation Video Store, you will find 12 new titles available for purchase including 2012, The Informant and The Condemned. If you are more of a rental person, a mere five new titles have been added to the list. If you are looking to pick up some cheap titles, don’t forget to check out the April Foolishness Sale.
The latest firmware for the PS3 has been announced by Sony, confirming the rumors about the removal of the OtherOS functionality. The new firmware update will bring the system software version to v3.21 and will be available to download this Thursday (April 1st 2010). After updating, the Linux partition on your hard drive will be inaccessible so be sure to backup any data.
For new arrivals this week on the US PlayStation Video Store, you will find a bunch of new releases movies that should suit everyone’s interests. There’s George Clooney’s The Men Who Stare at Goats and Fantastic Mr. Fox; Brothers, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman, and Toby Maguire; The Blind Side, starring Academy Award Winner Sandra Bullock, and the wildly popular The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
This week on the PlayStation Store, Europe and the US has received a massive content update including a ton of new add-on content, permanent price deductions and new premium avatars for Heavy Rain. Episode 6 of The Tester is available on the US store and new add-on content includes Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks, LittleBigPlanet costumes and level kits and more.
This week on the PSP Store you will find new Easter related add-on content for LittleBigPlanet, complete with a free Sackboy costume. A new PSP minis title is also available in both the US and Europe and a number of new downloadable games have hit the stores too.
This week on the US PlayStation Store, brand new movies for rent this week include Did You Hear About the Morgans, Ninja Assassin, The Fourth Kind and Astro Boy. For TV this week, new episodes of LOST, 24, Chuck, and The Simpsons are in and all available in HD. In Free TV, you’ll want to download Episode 5 of the Tester, and the free Pilot for Sons of Tucson.
This week on the PSP Store, Episode 5 of The Tester is available to download from the US store, marking the half-way point for season 1. A number of new downloadable games are also available including Patchwork Heroes in both the US and Europe. The PlayStation Home client has received a major update, bringing with it very significant enhancements that will make your PlayStation Home experience even better. The update faster load times, giving you quicker access to PlayStation Home and all the great content within. The new 1.35 update has also enhanced the login process. Now, once you have launched into PlayStation Home from the XMB, you will be transported directly to a new intuitive navigator, without the need to click through message screens.
