The BBC has confirmed that the newest iteration of its TV on-demand service, the iPlayer, will be released on Sony’s PlayStation 3 soon. Simon Cross of the BBC told TechRadar that it will be looking to introduce the iPlayer 3 on Sony’s console once it overcomes technical issues with the sign-in process.

Sony has updated the PSP Comic reading application to version v2.01. The new version of the application adds a number of new features and improvements to the application, the changelog for which can be found below. You can update your application by following the instructions below.
There isn’t a lot of new content on the European PSP Store today. You can find discounts and offers on a number of titles from Sony and Sega, and there also some new trailers for upcoming games. Three new Minis are available to download too, but no new game add-on content on the store today.
This week on the European PlayStation Store, you can find lots of discounts and offers on title – from both Sony and Sega. There are seven new games to download including Episode 3 of Sam & Max and the Blue Toad Murder Files bundle. There is an enormous amount of new game add-on content and you can also find new game videos, premium avatars, a new dynamic theme and some wallpaper.
This week’s PlayStation Store update in the US features lots of discounted games and DLC content. You can also find the third episode of Sam & Max and lots of new add-on content for titles including MAG, Red Dead Redemption and ModNation Racers. Not a lot of new videos on the store this week as the bulk of them were released over E3. Finally, you can find new avatars, XMB themes and wallpapers.
This week on the US PlayStation Store, you can find episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Hard Times of RJ Berger. The PlayStation Store has been updated for the second time this week, bring with it the newest content from E3 2010. The US PlayStation Store has been updated with lots of new game trailers and videos, and the final two parts of the Sony Press Conference are also up for download. Check out the list of new PS3 and PSP videos below.
Considering its E3 week this week, the European PSP Store has received a fairly small update. You can find a number of new downloadable titles including Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Toy Story 3. You can also find a new Minis title, a new PSone classic and a new playable demo. Finally, you can also download some PSP trailers from E3.
This week on the PlayStation Store you can find the Tales of Monkey Island as well as new Minis and PSone classics. There is lots of new game add-on content for various titles including a huge number of new tracks for Singstar. Episode 11 of FirstPlay is now available to purchase and you can also find a number of game trailer from E3 2010.
