Over the next 10 weeks, games in the UK will be bombarded with advertising for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Sony will be sponsoring some great TV, which will feature ‘Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’ branding and footage on all Sky One & Two Movies, including Mission Impossible 2, Hunt for Red October and Beverly Hills Cop. Along with this sponsorship, the TV ad will also be running, including great spots in both the England World Cup Qualifier against Belarus on the Oct 14th and the UEFA Champions League match between Chelsea and Athletico Madrid the following week.

New Uncharted 2 and Ratchet & Clank Spaces Coming To Home
PlayStation Home will soon get two new game spaces for the upcoming titles Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time along with personal spaces. Just like some of the spaces already available, the two new spaces will feature own unique looks and themes, along with mini games.
Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Demo Statistics
Naughty Dog has revealed some statistics around the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multiplayer demo, which went public last week. to day, there’s been more than 1 million games played, adding up to a total of 9,905 days worth of gameplay, or over 27 years. It’s no surprise really as Uncharted 2 is one of the most anticipated games this year. The demo could well be the most downloaded demo in PlayStation Store history. See below for other statistics.
Naughty Dog Talks Uncharted 2 DLC
Naughty Dog has revealed it’s downloadable content plans for upcoming title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. According to Naughty Dog, downloadable content will include additional multiplayer goodies such as maps and game modes. Multiplayer designer Justin Richmond revealed that competitive content will be added to the game, but no co-op DLC will be available “for the foreseeable future.”

Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Demo Now Open To All
Naughty Dog announced today that the multiplayer demo will be available for everyone to download on the PlayStation Store starting at 11 a.m. PST / 7pm BST. The demo has been available to those who pre-ordered the game for a few weeks now, and will continue until October 12th. Once the retail version of the game is released, all stats from the Beta server will be reset.
Naughty Dog Disables Some Twitter Functionality in Uncharted 2
If you don’t already know, Naughty Dog’s new title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves supports the micro-blogging network Twitter. Completing chapters, and playing multiplayer games posts ‘tweets’ to your Twitter account, allow your friends to follow your activity within the game. Some reviewers have had early access to the game and selected the option to update their Twitter accounts as they completed each chapter of the game. This has resulted in some Twitter feeds being updated multiple times an hour.
Uncharted Story Will Continue After Among Thieves
Naughty Dog has insisted that PlayStation 3 exclusive sequel Uncharted 2: Among Thieves doesn’t wrap up Nathan Drake’s treasure hunting escapades, hinting that the brash adventurer will return for more high-octane, globe-trotting thrills later down the line. The developer is keen to continue Drake’s story as long as fans want more of it.
Uncharted 2 Dated for Europe
Sony has staple-gunned a European release date to Naughty Dog’s hotly anticipated sequel Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, confirming the game will hit PAL territories on October 16th. The adventure title was originally pencilled in for release on October 23, though the date was quickly retracted on Twitter by Naughty Dog co-president, Christophe Balestra.
Naughty Dog on Making Nathan Drake a ‘Fallible Hero’
Naughty Dog’s Richard Lemarch has spilled the beans on the design influences behind Uncharted hero Nathan Drake, revealing the studio wanted the brash treasure hunter to resemble a regular bloke as opposed to an individual who boasted “precise Ninja powers”. As a result of this, the developer poured over various action movies staring ‘everyday’ heroes when tweaking Drake’s character for the hotly anticipated sequel.
