With a week to go until The Tester debuts on the PlayStation Network, Sony has released a preview of what you can expect from the reality program. A special preview show of The Tester hosted by actor, comedian, hardcore gamer, and judge Hal Sparks is available to download from the PlayStation Store today, and you can also find a short trailer below.
BioShock 2 is almost here, and we have just received the launch trailer from Sony (check it out below). The game will be available in North American and Europe from February 9th 2010. The year is 2039. World Wars have destroyed much of civilization as we know it. The remaining territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations, the mightiest of which is Tekken. In order to keep the masses down, Tekken sponsors the Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters compete to the death for ultimate glory and receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth.
Final Fantasy XIII is already out in Japan but for those of us without a full grasp of the Japanese language, we have to wait for the US and European release date which is currently set as March 9th 2010. To help ease the pain of the wait, Square Enix have today released a rather lengthy international trailer. As expected, the trailer shows off some new cut-scenes and gameplay plus we also get to hear some of the English voice acting. In true Final Fantasy fashion it is very good and unlike most Japanese RPGs the voices are not immensely camp or cheesy.
The heroes of Army of Two: The 40th Day Salem & Rios have come to London from their home in Montreal to help promote the launch of their brand new video game. The pair’s antics, captured in a new trailer released today, show Salem and Rios speaking with BBC 1Xtra’s Rampage Crew – Mike Anthony and Treble T – getting Kara Tointon to do their make-up, signing copies of the game for fans (including The Inbetweeners star and robot dance maestro Blake Harrison), rocking out with music act Pint Shot Riot, and generally creating havoc all over the city. Square-Enix released the last Final Fantasy XIII trailer earlier today. Showcasing never before witnessed segments, this is the final trailer set to be released before the official release in Japan in just three short weeks. With everything leading up to the launch, Square-Enix certainly went out with a bang with the trailer. Some of the trailer features previous footage from older trailers, but a lot of the content is new. As with previous titles, Final Fantasy XIII should be one of the most emotional entries of the legendary saga.

Square Enix has revealed a new trailer for its upcoming MMO Final Fantasy XIV, coming in 2010 on the PlayStation 3. This latest trailer showcases the realm of Eorzea and gets us quite excited for its simultaneous global release. As previously mentioned, the game will support several languages, including Japanese, English, French, and German.
In need of another Uncharted 2: Among Thieves fix? We’ve got a new trailer for you to watch – the one that was shown during Sony’s GamesCom Press Conference. The footage in the trailer is generated directly from the Naughty Dog 2.0 engine. After the trailer to there is a short interview between Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer and PlayStation.Blog’s Chris Morell, in which they talk about the single-player campaign.
Today, SCEA has announced LittlebigPlanet, the Game of the Year Edition. The game ships to stores on September 8th for $59.99 with a “Sackful” of bonus content. Bonus content includes 18 user-made levels, 7 add-on packs from the PlayStation Store and for a limited time only, access to the ModNation Online Beta. Altogether, the bonus content adds up to over $30 in savings.
Episode 15 of Qore is out tomorrow and will feature some highly anticipated PS3 titles. Veronica Belmont heads to Seattle to get the 411 on Zipper Interactive’s MAG. You can also expect coverage on Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Tekken 6 and Katamari Forever. Episode 15 also includes a exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 XMB Theme and a new Rune Raider level pack in the Qore Arcade.
