It’s no surprise that FIFA 15 has topped the UK Games chart for a second week. Three new additions have also made it into the top 5, pushing down PS4 exclusive Destiny to fifth position. Cross-platform title Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor debuts on the chart at number 2, followed by Xbox exclusive Forza Horizon.

FIFA 15 Knocks Off Destiny from Top of UK Games Chart

After two weeks on top of the UK Games Chart, Destiny has been knocked off by by FIFA 15, which was released towards the end of last week. If the trend from last year continues, FIFA 15 is likely to top the chart for weeks to come. As a result, Destiny has dropped to second place.
Destiny Keeps Top Stop in UK Games Chart for Second Week

Bungie’s Destiny continues to do well in the UK Games Chart this week, keeping the top spot for the second week running. The game, available on a number of platforms including PS4 and Xbox One, has been hugely popular since its release two weeks ago. UKIE also revealed that 72% of PS4 sales for the week were the Destiny bundle.
The Last of Us Stays on Top of UK Games Chart for Third Week

The Last Of Us Remastered is still on top of the cross-platform Games chart in the UK, making it the third week in a row. The PS4 exclusive title continues to hold back Watch_Dogs in second position, followed by the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft. FIFA 14 and GTA V have both slipped down the chart, ending in 7th and 8th positions, respectively.
The Last of Us is Still Top of UK Games Chart

The Last of Us Remastered continues it’s domination of the UK Games Chart for the second week running. In fact the top 3 games remain unchanged this week, while GTA V has managed to gain several places to finish in fourth position, up from 10th last week. The remaining games have also had a bit of shuffling this week.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for July 2014

Sony has released the PlayStation Store sales chart for July 2014, which sees The Last of Us Remastered jump to the top of the PS4 chart with just a single day of sales. On the PS Vita, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster re-entered the chart thanks to a temporary price drop, and Minecraft continues to top the PS3 chart for yet another month.

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us has taken the top spot in the UK charts once again, thanks to the Remastered edition of the game for the PS4. The PS4 title has managed to beat multi-format Watch_Dogs, which has dominated the charts for the last several weeks. The Last of Us Remastered is the fifth largest release of 2014 to date and also the fourth largest launch on the PlayStation 4, just behind InFamous: Second Son.
Final Fantasy XIV Re-Enters UK Games Chart, inFamous Drops Down

In the UK Games Chart this week, FIFA World Cup has debuted in 2nd position, but Titalfall continues to top the chart for another week. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has re-entered the top 20 too, thanks to the PS4 release last week. PS4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son has dropped a further few places down the chart, finishing in 15th place.

Sony has released the PlayStation Store chart for Europe, revealing the top selling games on the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. As expected, inFAMOUS Second Son was the top selling title on the PS4, while Minecraft is still the top selling PS3 title for the forth month running.

PS4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son enjoyed a good two weeks on top of the UK Games Chart, until this week, with FIFA 14 returning to the top. In fact, inFamous has dropped five places to finish in 6th position, with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes one place ahead in 5th.
