Call of Duty: Black Ops III is officially the UK’s number one Christmas game, according to the latest game’s chart. The title managed to beat off newly released Star Wars Battlefront, which came in 2nd place and FIFA 16, which closed in at 3rd place.

It’s time for another look at the European PlayStation Store download chart, to see which PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games sold the most digital copies. On the PS4, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection took top spot, beating the previous number 1 Destiny: The Taken King.

September 2015 saw many new big games released on the PS4 and PS3, so last month’s top selling PlayStation Store chart comes as no surprise. On the PS4 and PS3, Destiny: The Taken King was the top selling title according to SCEE, followed by FIFA 16 in second on both consoles.

Sony has released the PlayStation Store Download Charts for July 2015, showing the most downloaded games. July saw a number of new releases for the PS4, with five making the top 10, but Journey was the best selling new release overall, beating God of War III Remastered (3rd place) and Life is Strange (5th place). On the PS3, Minecraft returns to the top of the chart (up from 3rd), and Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars come in 2nd place thanks to the release of Rocket League on PS4.

There were a number of new releases last month on the PS4, but The Elder Scrolls Online sold the most digital copies to come out on top – beating Batman: Arkham Knight in the process, which came in second. On the PS Vita, FIFA 15 gained a place to finish on top.

The PS4 saw a number of new releases last month, with three of them in the top 5. Overall, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was the top selling title, followed by Project CARS.
