Remastering of current-generation games is becoming common place at the moment, with yet another title making the jump to next-gen consoles. Sleeping Dogs is the latest game to be rebuild for next-gen consoles, and will be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One in October 2014. The Definitive Edition of the game will include all the previously released DLCs too.

Sleeping Dogs Joins the Instant Game Collection in North America
SCEA has revealed what PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting through the month of May in North America. The list includes three PS3 games and four PS Vita games – two of the titles are cross-buy compatible. Among the list of titles includes Sleeping Dogs for the PS3 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND for the PS Vita. Sleeping Dogs will be the first to be added to the Instant Game Collection as part of tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update.
Sleeping Dogs Getting Zombie Themed DLC
Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs will be getting new DLC content at the end of this month, titled Nightmare in Northpoint. According to Kotaku, the DLC will be simliar to the Undead Nightmare expansion for Red Dead Redemption. At New York Comic-Con, United Front Games said, ”With the DLC, we feel we can explore other aspects of Hong Kong cinema”.
Sleeping Dogs Launch Trailer Released
United Front Games’ open world crime title Sleeping Dog comes out next week in North America and Europe, and we’ve got the launch trailer for your viewing pleasure. The game is set in the city of Hong Kong with the player taking the role of undercover cop Wei Shen with the goal of take down a deadly crime organisation from the inside.
Sleeping Dogs ‘Hard Boiled Gunplay’ Trailer
Square Enix have released a new trailer for Sleeping Dogs, showing gunplay from the game. Square Enix also highlight the ‘aggressive cover system’, a new mechanic that switches the game into slow motion when you emerge from cover.
