Sony has announced it is shutting down the servers for a number of PlayStation games towards the end of this year, affecting the online modes of a number of PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games. Gravity Rush 2 is the only affected PS4 title on the list, which will have it’s servers shutdown in just under a month on 19th July 2018.

Destiny 2 Scheduled Maintenance Taking Place Tomorrow
Destiny 2 will be undergoing scheduled maintenance tomorrow, 3rd January 2018 for approximately five hours in the evening, affecting your evening gaming session for those in Europe. The maintenance window will be begin at 3:00pm GMT and will last until 8:00pm GMT.
Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 Servers Shutting Down in March 2018
After six years of operation, Guerrilla Games has announced that the multiplayer servers for Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 will be shutting down in March 2018. The single player content for both the games will be unaffected, but it does mean any online trophies for the game subsequently become unattainable.
Destiny 2 Scheduled Maintenance on 30th November 2017
Bungie have announced that Destiny 2 will be undergoing scheduled maintenance tomorrow for approximately six hours. During the maintenance period, the game will be offline. The maintenance will begin at 4:00pm GMT / 8:00am PST, and will last until 10:00pm GMT / 2:00pm PST.
DC Universe Online for PS3 to Shutdown in January 2018
Daybreak Games have announced that support for DC Universe Online is to end on the PS3, with the servers shutting down at then end of January 2018. The PS4 version of the game will continue to be supported, and all PS3 content will be migrated to the PS4 version, allowing gamers to continue their games.
Kill Strain and Other Game Servers to Close on 1st July 2017
Less than a year after release, Sony will be shutting down the servers for free-to-play title title Kill Strain on the PS4. First released on 12 July 2016, the title appears to have flopped and failed to build up a decent online community. In addition, Sony has announced that other titles will also be losing their online components.
LittleBigPlanet’s Japan Servers Being Closed Next Month
Sony Japan has revealed that the online servers for LittleBigPlanet will be closing at the end of July 2016, rendering the online portion of all LittleBigPlanet games useless. The server closure will affect all LBP games including LBP, LBP2, LBP3, LBP Karting, Portable & Vita, affecting the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita games.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 Servers Shut Down in August 2016
Konami have announced that the servers for PES 2015 will be shutting down this August, disabling the game’s online functionality as a result. The servers will shutdown on 25th August at exactly 4:00am UTC (5:00am GMT) – just under a month before the PES 2017 is scheduled for release.
DRIVECLUB is being Re-Programmed to Solve Connection Issues
Philippe Cardon, head of PlayStation France, has said that the DRIVECLUB‘s ongoing server issues are nothing to do with server infrastructure or lack of, but related to the way the game was programmed. The coding in the game prevents multiple players from connecting at the same time, effectively creating a bottleneck and resulting in some players not being able to connect.
DRIVECLUB Update: “Majority” of Racers Can Now Get Online
Even after weeks of sever updates and optimisations, Evolution Studios still cannot get every racer to connect to the DRIVECLUB servers. The latest update from the studio says that the “majority” of gamers can now get online, which means issues still exist.
