PlayStation TV will be releasing in Europe and the UK on November 14th, Sony has revealed, with a RRP of £84.99 / €99.99. Sony has also confirmed that hundreds of PS Vita, PSP and PS one games will be compatible with the device from day one, along with Remote Play functionality with the PS4.

New Destiny Video Shows PS Vita Remote Play
Destiny is just days away from release, and a new video of the game has been released showing the Remote Play capabilities of the game. The video from PlayStation.Blog shows just how impressive, and responsive the remote play experience is. The team over at Bungie actually optimized the controls for Destiny on PS Vita via Remote Play, and the controls are displayed below.
PS4 UI Videos Show Dynamic Menu, Video and Sharing Features and Remote Play
Three new high-definition videos have been released showing the various features of the PS4, with the first showing the PS4’s Dynamic Menu in great details. The second video takes a look at the PlayStation Store, screen recording, screenshots and sharing via the available Social Media sites, while the final video looks at Remote Play and how easy it is to pick up where you left off.
Killzone: Shadow Fall Remote Play Shown In Very Short Video
A new video has emerged showing PS4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall being played on the PS Vita using Remote Play. The downside is that the video is very short – only 14 seconds – and very poor quality. Like Knack, the display for Killzone is simply replicated on the PS Vita, allowing someone to watch you play on the TV, even if you’re using Remote Play in another room.
New PS4 Footage Shows Remote Play and Multitasking Features
New Japanese footage of the PS4 has appeared from an unknown event showing how the PS4’s Interface works, including multitasking and Remote Play. The video shows how seamless it is switching between a game (in this case, Knack) and the web browser (or another application).
Knack’s Second Screen Co-op Shown Off in New Video
Sony has show off the PS4’s Remote Play capabilities in the past, but at the Brazil Game Show, Sony showed off Knack’s Remote Play features with a twist: second-screen co-op. Knack allows you to play couch co-op with a friend, with one player using the PS4 connected to a TV and the using a PS Vita.
All PS4 Games will have PS Vita Remote Play Functionality Says Developer
A developer working on PS4 games has told Digital Foundry that all PS4 games that don’t support the PS4’s camera requires Remote Play functionality with the PS Vita. Remote Play hasn’t seen a lot of support in the past, even with the PSP console, so this is good news if the details are accurate. Sony has already stated that the long term plan is to have most PS4 games playable on the PS Vita via Remote Play.
Sony Looking At Game Streaming and OnLive
In an interview with MCV, Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Worldwide Studios, has said that the company is looking at “what OnLive is doing” and “how this can be a part of PlayStation.” He also mentioned that Sony already implements some basic cloud technology with the Remote Play feature on the PS3, PSP and PS Vita.
Rumor Alert: PS3 / Vita Remote Play Locked To PSP Resolution
According to a story by Eurogamer, the PlayStation Vita’s Remote Play functionality will be the same resolution as the PSP, which is currently stands at 480px x 272px resolution, and scaled up to the Vita’s resolution. A firmware update will enable Remote Play for all titles, and new PS3 games will be able to include a specific 480p resolution for the Vita.
