PSN title rain arrives on the PlayStation Store today in North America and tomorrow in Europe. To celebrate, the launch trailer for the game has been released. In addition, the game’s full soundtrack will be available to purchase on the PlayStation Store too. The full soundtrack for rain, featuring the enchanting music created by composer Yugo Kanno and the gifted singer Connie Talbot, will be available to purchase for €7.49/£5.99.

Rain Release Date and Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed
Japan Studio and Playstation C.A.M.P. have today revealed the release date for their new title, rain, as well as releasing the second Developer Diary. The game is now available to pre-order from the PlayStation Store, with the game releasing on October 2nd 2013 across PAL regions, and a day earlier in North America.

The first gameplay trailer for rain has been released, since the game was first announced at Gamescom last year. The story of rain is the enchanting tale of a boy who chases after a girl with an invisible silhouette. After discovering that the girl is being hunted by ghostly creatures, he embarks on his own journey into the mysterious world of rain to save her and discovers he has also become invisible.

Gamescom 2012: Sony Announced Three New PS3 Titles
Sony has announced three new titles for the PS3, one a PlayStation Move title and two that are being developed by Japan Studio. The PlayStation Movie title “Until Dawn” is a Horror title, featuring seven playable characters. RAIN and Puppeteer are both being developed by Japan Studio.

Sony has filed trademarks for two new titles ahead of it’s Gamescom Press Conference next week in Cologne, Germany. A trademark for a video game called “Rain” was filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on 30th July 2012.
