Savage Moon Goes Portable

The PSN title Savage Moon is heading to the PSP with new weapons, maps and gameplay. For the last few months FluffyLogic personnel have been toiling away in an underground bunker to produce the mobile incarnation of the game: Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign. For those new to the game, Savage Moon is a tower defence strategy game which launched on PS3 last winter. The game pits the player (humans), who is trying to mine valuable minerals from sentient asteroids or Imoons, against massive chitinous, armoured bugs called ‘Insectocytes’.
PSN Codes Now Available At Amazon

Sony has announced that Amazon will start selling digital access codes for more than 200 PlayStation Network games and game-related content for the PlayStation 3 and PSP. You can start redeeming codes right now from Amazon.com, and use them to download content for the PS3 or PSP systems with US PSN accounts. The codes will stay in the customer’s Your Games & Software Library so you can retrieve them at a later time if needed.
Red Alert 3: Commander’s Challenge Trophies

Comrades, the Red Alert 3 battle rages on! This entry in the Command & Conquer series challenges players to take on the world’s toughest commanders and conquer the globe in 50 unique challenges. The Commander’s Challenge throws the player into intense battle challenges against a set of nine different commanders, including 16-time world champion “Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
TGS 09: New PSP Room Service Announced

It looks like a new PSP service, PlayStation Room, will be similar to Home for the PlayStation 3. At the Tokyo Game Show yesterday, Sony announced that the PSP service will allow users to create 3D avatars, room spaces, blogs, albums, and chat support. This new service will be added via an upcoming PSP firmware update sometime this winter. You will be able to launch the service directly from the PlayStation Network menu on the XMB.

Squall, Rinoa, and the rest of Final Fantasy VIII the crew have junctioned themselves into a new domain – you can now play them on the go on your PSP and on the PS3. There is now word on a US or European release yet, but we can expect more details in the next week or two.

Konami Dates Zombie Apocalypse

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has announced the release date and new screenshots from the highly anticipated downloadable game Zombie Apocalypse. Coming to the PlayStation Network on September 24, Zombie Apocalypse drops players in an epic battle between the dead and the living. Equipped with ample artillery, players’ dual analog stick shooting skills will be put to the test in the thrilling arcade style shooter.
