Blacklight: Tango Down hits the PlayStation Store later today, and to celebrate its release, Sony have released a brand-new, exclusive gameplay video and a piece of never-before seen concept art. Blacklight is a fast-paced, action-oriented, first-person shooter that takes place in 25 years in the future.

The PlayStation Network will be offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 on today until 02:00 on Wednesday 22 September 2010, BST. During the maintenance window, all PlayStation Network services will be unavailable including the PlayStation Store, Account Management features and Account Registration.
Top Gun Available on PSN Today
Top Gun, the game based on the classic 80’s film, will be available to download from the PlayStation Store later today. The game features 11 campaign missions, a horde mode, and 16 player online multiplayer with five game modes. You can fly in one of six jets including the US Navy’s F-14, F-16, or F/A-18 or the enemy’s MiG-29, MiG-31, or Su-27.
Rumor Alert: PlayStation Plus To Offer Nickname Change Option
The ability to change your PSN ID has been available in Japan for some time now, but still hasn’t made it way to Europe or North America. According to some anonymous hackers, the feature could be heading to the West as part of PlayStation Plus. A video of this feature from the Japanese PSN can be found below.
Top Gun Coming to PSN Soon
Soon you will be able to join Maverick, Goose, Iceman and Viper roar into the sky again as Top Gun heads to the PlayStation Network. The game features all-new dialogue and storyline written by the film’s screenwriter, Jack Epps, Jr., as well as three single-player and five multiplayer modes.
inFamous Now Available on PSN
inFamous has been available on Blu-ray disc for well over a year now, but the game is finally available to download from the PlayStation Network. With the release of PlayStation Plus today, subscribers can download the 60-minute trial of the full game for free.
PlayStation Network Terms Updated for PlayStation Plus
If you’ve tried to connect to the PlayStation Network recently, you may have been asked to agree to the new PlayStation Network Terms of Use agreement. If you’ve taken the time to read through the agreement, you would have noticed several key changes including the addition of PlayStation Plus and other important clauses.
E3 2010: PlayStation Network Tops 50 Million Registered Accounts
In Sony’s E3 2010 Press Conference, Jack Tretton revealed that the PlayStation Network has more than 50 million registered accounts, the highest of the three major consoles. The PlayStation Network was launched in 2006 and registrations have continued to grow rapidly. This confirms a study earlier this year stating that the PS3 has the highest percentage of connected consoles.
E3 2010: PlayStation Plus Officially Announced
At Sony’s E3 Press Conference, Jack Tretton officially announced PlayStation Plus, the premium subscription service for the PlayStation Network. The service will build on top of the existing free service, offering gamers exclusive content, early access to demos, automatic download of demos and game related content and more.
