PlayMemories Studio Launches Today on PS Store
You may already be aware of PlayMemories and Filmy, two applications available on PlayStation Store that allow you to manage your photos and home-videos respectively, to create slideshows, edit, filter and view what you capture on your HDTV via PS3. Today, Sony are please to announce that PlayMemories Studio will be replacing both the original PlayMemories and Filmy applications.
Foosball 2012 Coming to PS3 and PS Vita
The very first table football game for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita has been announced. The game is packed with lots of features and game moves, including various kinds of tables (American style, European style…), customizations, ball types and trick shots to keep you entertained and experimenting for hours.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations On PSN Today
Assassin’s Creed Revelations has been available on Blu-ray for some time now, but if you haven’t given it a go yet, you will be able to download it from the PlayStation Store soon. Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be released on the PlayStation Store today, March 23rd on PSN with a 35% launch discount off the RRP of €69.99/£49.99 for the weekend (that works out at €44.99/£36.99 with the discount).
Top PSN Sellers for February 2012
Last month was a big one for PlayStation Network games! Not only did we see a ton of great new downloadable PS3 titles, but the launch of PS Vita saw PSN flooded with new digital offerings. Starting this month, a new top 10 list has been added to show what games topped the digital PS Vita charts.
PlayStation Network Scheduled Maintenance on Sunday
As you may recall, Sony postponed the last scheduled PlayStation Network maintenance session from last Thursday to a time to be announced. It is now determined that maintenance will take place tomorrow (Sunday, March 4). This significant PSN maintenance period is expected to start at just after noon Pacific and will last for several hours, until approximately 2am Pacific on Monday, March 5.
Reminder: Scheduled PSN Maintenance On Thursday
Just a quick reminder that the PlayStation Network will be undergoing maintenance on Thursday, 1st March. Maintenance is expected to start at just after 16:00 GMT and will last for several hours, until approximately 06:00 GMT onFriday, 2 March. Unlike typical maintenance events, consumers who are already signed in to PSN will be signed out, and consumers will be unable to sign in for the duration of the maintenance window.
Killzone 3 Multiplayer Goes Free This Week
According to the latest PlayStation Blogcast, Guerrilla’s first person shooter, Killzone 3, will see its multiplayer portion appear free of charge on the PlayStation Network Store. The free version will be a slightly limited version of the full multiplayer experience, with the only limit bring a level cap.
PSN Maintenance On March 1st 2012
Another PSN maintenance window has been scheduled for March 1st 2012, between 4pm and 7am the following day. As usual, your SEN Account, the PlayStation Store and associated services will be offline during this time. However, unlike normal, users who sign-in before the maintenance window will not be able to stay online.
Top PSN Sellers for January 2012
The Top PSN, PS3, PSOne and Add-on sales data has been revealed by Sony for January 2012. NFL Blitz was on top for PSN / PS3 downloads, while Corpse Party went for its third straight month at the top of the PSP charts. In PSone Classics, Final Fantasy VII reclaimed its spot at the top. Lastly, Battlefield 3 DLC earned two spots on the Add-Ons category.
