Deep Silver has announced a new side-scrolling brawler titled Sacred Citadel. The developers are looking to reinvent the genre with lots of playable classes, RPG elements and collectable items. The game will also include multiplayer allowing up to three players to play along side each other.

Papo & Yo Coming to PSN Next Week
PSN exclusive title Papo & Yo is less than a week away from release in North America and Europe. To celebrate the upcoming launch, developers Minority have have released a cinematic launch trailer for the game with Rezolution Pictures.
Europe’s Summer Sale Games Revealed
SCEE has posted a list of titles gamers can expect in the Summer Sale, including plenty of PS3, PSP and PSOne games to enjoy. More titles will be added to the sale each week, but here is what you can expect from the start. Unfortunately, there aren’t any PS Vita titles on offer.

SCEE has launched it’s Summer Sale in Europe, bringing gamers over 50 offers, staring tomorrow. The sale runs from August 1st 2012 until September 5th and includes offers on Bly-ray games, PSN titles, PS3 DLC, PSOne classics, PSP games, Minis and Movies.
Retro/Grade Coming to PSN in August
Development on award-winning rhythm/shoot’em up Retro/Grade has completed and the game will be releasing on the PlayStation Network next month. In addition, Sony has also confirmed that the game’s soundtrack will be available for purchase too – either standalone or as a bundle including the game.
PlayStation Network Partially Down
The PlayStation Network has been suffering intermittent issues over the weekend, and continuing into today. If you are having problems connecting to the PSN, you may have to just wait it out until access is restored.
Dyad Demo Available to Download from PlayStation Store
The Dyad demo is now available to download from the PlayStation Store in North America, letting you try out the first five levels of the game. Dyad is a “tunnel racing puzzle shooting” PSN game that uses a number of new concepts to build upon a classic genre.

The PlayStation Network is going offline for scheduled maintenance this Thursday, lasting until Friday morning. The maintenance window will begin at 16:00 on Thursday 26th July 2012 until 08:00 on Friday 27th July 2012, BST.
