The network will be down from 2:00 PM BST today, until 5:00 AM BST on Tuesday morning, which means you can say goodbye to any online gaming today evening. If you want to continue to play online, you’ll have to sign-in to the PlayStation Network before the downtime begins.

Sony Europe has released the chart for the top downloaded content from the PlayStation Store last month. Tomb Raider was the most downloaded title on the PS3, having only been recently released. The Walking Dead was the most popular PSN title, and Urban Trial Freestyle was the most popular PS Vita title, for the second month running.

Sony has released the top selling games chart for March 2013, showing the most downloaded content from the PlayStation Store. MLB 13 The Show was the most downloaded PS3 title last month, followed by Journey. On the PS Vita, Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland was the most downloaded game.

Sony has released the Top 10 PSN Chart for February 2013, once again revealing a number of re-entries in the chart. New title Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch enters the chart at no. 3, while Darksiders 2 and Darksiders take the no. 1 and no. 2 spots, respectively. On the PS Vita, new comer Urban Trial Freestyle debuts on the top spot.

The PlayStation Network will be going offline next week for some scheduled maintenance. The maintenance will start from Monday, March 4th at 16:00 GMT and will last until 3:00 AM on Tuesday, March 5th. If you wish to play online during the maintenance window, you’ll need to sign-in to the PSN before the network goes offline.

Sony has been fined £250,000 over the PlayStation Hack that occurred in April 2011, due to a “serious breach” of the Data Protection Act, according to the BBC. According to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Sony could have prevented the hack by keeping security software up-to-date.
