Sony has released the PlayStation Store charts for August for PAL regions, revealing Payday 2 as the top selling title on the PS3 last month, followed by GTA IV. July’s top selling title, The Last of Us, has dropped to third in the chart. On the PS Vita, LittleBigPlanet re-entered the chart and made it to number one, while July’s title, Hotline Miami, has dropped to fourth.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Purchases from PSN to get Refunded

Games who purchased the digital version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on 27th or 28th August will be getting a refund from Square-Enix after the game suffered server issues and timeouts. According to a message posted on the European PlayStation Blog, the purchase of the game will be refunded, but gamers will still have access to download the game.
PSN Maintenance Scheduled for August 22nd 2013

The PlayStation Network will be going offline this Thursday evening (if you’re in Europe) for some scheduled maintenance. The maintenance will be begin on Thuesday, 22nd August from 8PM UK time (or 12PM PST) and last for approximately six and a half hours, ending at 2:30AM BST.
Top PSN Sellers for July 2013 in North America

SCEA has released the PlayStation Store charts for July 2013, revealing the top selling PS3, PSN, PS Vita, and PS Mobile titles and DLC content. On the PS3, Shadow of the Colossus was the top selling game on the PS3, followed by The Last Of Us. On the PS Vita, Mortal Kombat PS Vita was the top selling title.

Sony has released the Top 10 PSN chart for July 2013 in Europe, showing the most downloaded titles on the PS3, PS Vita and PSP. The Last of Us continues to sell well, and keeps its top position in the chart for the second month running. On the PS Vita, Hotline Miami also keeps its top position on the chart for a second month, while new entries Total Recoil and Machinarium debut on the chart in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Sony Europe has released the PlayStation Store chart for June 2013 in Europe, revealing that Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us was the top selling title on the PS3. A number of re-entries make up the remainder of the PS3 chart, while new title Hotline Miami was the top selling game on the PS Vita.
PSN Maintenance Scheduled for Tuesday, 25th June 2013

Sony has revealed that maintenance will be taking place on the PlayStation Network tomorrow, starting in the afternoon and lasting through the evening. The PSN will be offline from 5.30pm BST/6.30pm CET and will last until around midnight BST/1.00am CET. Sony says the maintenance is necessary to “continue bringing you the best online games experience on PSN.”

Recent rumours suggest that Sony are working on new privacy settings for the PS3 and PS4 to allow users to hide their Trophy count and lists from other users. At the moment, trophy information is publicly available for any PSN user, meaning anyone can look at what games you’ve been playing.

On the PS3, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was the most downloaded title, while Soul Sacrifice was the most downloaded title on the PS Vita. SCEE have released the May 2013 PSN download chart, revealing the most downloaded PS3, PSN, PS Vita and PS Classic games. On the PS3, Grand Theft Auto IV was the most downloaded title on the PS3, followed by re-entry Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. The top downloaded PSN title was Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, followed by Terraria, both new entries.
