Despite Sony previously saying that PS5 pre-orders would being after advanced notice, it’s hasn’t really worked out that way. This week, many retailers across the world began offering PS5 pre-orders following the PS5 Showcase, with GAME in the UK going first, followed by Amazon, John Lewis, Argos and more.

Sony has revealed the official retail packaging for the two PS5 models, following the PS5 Showcase yesterday evening. The two models are launching in selected territories on 12th November, followed by Rest of the World on 19th November 2020.

The PS5 has two models: PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition. Both consoles have the exact same technical specification, except the Digital Edition does not have a Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive.
