The PlayStation Store chart for August 2018 has been released, showing the top selling digital titles on the PlayStation Store. On the PS4, GTA V continues it’s top position for the second month in a row thanks to the Summer Sale. On the PS VR, Robinson: The Journey has jumped back to first from sixth position last month. EU PlayStation Store Update for 4th September 2018
The European PlayStation Store has received a massive update this week, with over 30 new PS4 games available for purchase. In addition, September’s PlayStation Plus line-up is also available to download. New games this week include V-Rally 4, Destiny 2: Forsaken, the Battlefield V Open Beta and lots more.
EA to Give Away Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for Free Next Week
To help promote the release of Battlefield V in November, EA will be giving away the premium pass for the previous title, Battlefield 1, for free next week. Between 11th and 18th September, you’ll be able to grab the DLC pass for free, which will allow you to download all the DLC for the game for free.
Battlefield V Delayed Into November 2018
Originally scheduled to release on 20th October 2018, EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield V has been delayed by a month, and will now release in November 2018. The reason for the delay is to further polish the game from feedback received during beta testing.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for September 2018 Revealed
The PlayStation Plus line-up for September 2018 has been released, and includes some great games for subscribers. For PS4 owners, you can look forward to Destiny 2 (Day One Edition) and God of War III: Remastered. The line-up also includes two PS3 and PS Vita games, all of which will be available from 4th September 2018.
PS4 System Software Ver. 5.56
Yet another minor firmware update for the PS4 was been released, updating the PS4 to version 5.56. If you’re not keeping track, this is the third minor update to PS4 Firmware 5.50. Luckily, this update is optional, and isn’t required unless the game you’re playing requires it.
Sony Has Sold 3 Million PlayStation VR Systems Worldwide
Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that more than 3 million PlayStation VR systems have been sold worldwide, along with 21.9 million PS VR games and apps. This is a major milestone for Sony, selling through another million units in the eight months since Black Friday in 2017.
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Has Been Delayed Until November 2018
Activision and Toys for Bob have announced that upcoming game Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has been delayed. The game was schedule to release on 21st September 2018, but will be releasing on 13th November 2018.
