The top download charts for August 2023 has been released, revealing the top selling games on the PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 across North America and Europe on the PlayStation Store. On the PS5, there were a number of new entries that made it into the top 5, including Madden NFL 24, Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The cost of PlayStation Plus will be increasing from 6th September 2023, Sony has announced. Depending on your region and the tier you choose, the cost of a 12-month subscription will increase as much as $40 / £20 / €32. If you have an existing subscription, you won’t be affected until its up for renewal on or after 6th November.
