Sony Clarifies Digital and Used Game Sharing in PS4 FAQs

Sony has clarified how used and digital games will on the PS4 with some new FAQs, confirming the need to activate your “primary” PS4 console to enjoy certain benefits. The FAQs state that the “primary” PS4 console will allow all users of the system to enjoy downloaded games, but games on other systems can only be used by the PSN account that purchased them.
Knack Needs 37 GB of HDD Space on PS4

Following the install size requirements for Killzone: Shadow Fall and Call of Duty: Ghosts, it looks like the installation size for PS4 launch title, Knack, has also been revealed. According to twitter user JoshLMusic, the game needs 37 GB of space on the PS4’s hard drive.

Sony has show off the PS4’s Remote Play capabilities in the past, but at the Brazil Game Show, Sony showed off Knack’s Remote Play features with a twist: second-screen co-op. Knack allows you to play couch co-op with a friend, with one player using the PS4 connected to a TV and the using a PS Vita.

PS4 Firmware v1.50 is a day-one update for the console, available from launch. The firmware update adds a number of advertised features to the console, including Remote Play, the ability to record and upload game footage, online multiplayer and lots more. The patch is 300 MB in size.

It has been revealed that Guerrilla Games’ Killzone: Shadow Fall on the PS4 will be weight in at 39.7 GB, if downloading the game from the PlayStation Network, but will be playable after an initial download of just 7.5 GB. Sony’s PlayGo system will allow the game to be played after less than 20% of the game has been downloaded.

Sony has released a new advert for the upcoming PS4, showing the many reasons why the PS4 should be the console you should choose, citing quotes from media, and taking some subtle shots at the Xbox One.
