The Lego Movie Videogame appears to be quite popular in the UK, with the game keeping top spot for a second week running in the Games Chart. FIFA 14 has managed to gain a couple of places this week, finishing in 2nd position. PS4 exclusive Killzone: Shadow Fall has dropped yet again, finishing in 20th position.

Wolfenstein: The New Order Confirmed for PS3 and PS4, Comes with Doom Beta
Bethesda has revealed that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be coming to PS3 and PS4 this May, marking the first PS4 game for the company. The game will be releasing on Friday, 23rd May 2014, and pre-orders will come with beta access for the next Doom game. The game was developed by MachineGames with deep game narrative packed with action, adventure and first-person combat rendered in stunning detail with id Software’s id Tech 5 engine.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch Coming to PS4 in April
Indie game Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be coming to the PS4 in April, developer Young Horses have revealed. The game is already available on PC, but the final PS4 release date has yet to be finalised, with the developers stating that the release likely to happen in “Early April”. The game will be exclusive to the PS4 on consoles, though a Xbox One version could be released in the future.
New Thief Trailer Released
Thief is coming to the PS4 and PS3 next week, and to celebrate a new trailer for the game has been release. The launch trailer unveils fresh snippets of Garrett’s story as well as some new gameplay footage – check it out below.
EU PlayStation Store Update for February 19th 2014
New content has been added to the European PlayStation Store, with the stand-alone version of Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry now available on the PS4 and PS3, as well as the PS4 beta for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. New DLC and a number of PS3 and PS Vita games are available too.
Thief will be 1080p at 30fps on PS4
The PS4 continues to prove how powerful it is with upcoming game, Thief, confirmed to run natively at 1080p resolution. In comparison, the game will run at 900p on the Xbox One, with both version running at 30 frames per second (fps). Nicolas Cantin, Game Director, said, “You really need good eyes to see the difference,” meaning that the Xbox One version is effectively “as good as the PS4 version”.
US PlayStation Store Update for February 18th 2014
New content is available on the US PlayStation Store, with a number of new PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games added. New games include Rayman Legends (PS4) and Strider (PS4, PS3), Earth Defense Force 2025 (PS3) and more. The Final Fantasy XIV beta is also available for the PS4, along with new PlayStation Plus content.
Official Trailer Released for The Order: 1886
Sony and Ready At Dawn has released a CG trailer with voiceover for upcoming game PS4 exclusive, The Order: 1886, set in neo Victorian London. The game presents an alternate version of history centred around an age old war, where mystery and technological advances take centre stage.
PS4 System Software Ver. 1.61
A new minor firmware update for the PS4 is now available, updating the console to v1.61. The firmware is mandatory, which means it must be installed before you can access the PlayStation Network. The update, which is 336 MB in size, improves system stability.
Sony Sells 5.3 Million PS4 Units Worldwide
Following the NPD figures released earlier this month, Sony has revealed the latest PS4 sales figures. As of February 8th 2014, the PS4 has sold an estimated 5.3 million units around the world – an increase of 1.1 million units since December 28th.
