Dead Nation and Tomb Raider Also Coming to US Instant Game Collection
SCEA has confirmed that Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition (PS4) and Tomb Raider (PS3) are also coming to the North American Instant Game Collection in March. In addition, the US will be getting four other titles, including Thomas Was Alone (PS3), Unit 13 (PS Vita) and Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite (PS Vita).
Dead Nation and Tomb Raider Coming to PlayStation Plus in March 2014
Sony Europe has confirmed the PlayStation Plus line-up for March 2014, revealing Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition (PS4) and Tomb Raider (PS3) will be coming to the Instant Game Collection, along with three other titles. The line-up means the rumour earlier this month was spot-on.
EU PlayStation Store Update for February 26th 2014
Lots of new content is available on the EU PlayStation Store this week, with lots of new games available for purchase on PS4 and PS3. Thief and The LEGO Movie Videogame are available on both the PS4 and PS3, with the latter also available on the PS Vita this week. You can also find new DLC content for all three consoles.
Dead Nation Confirmed for PS4, Coming to Instant Game Collection in Asia
Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition has been confirmed for the PS4 via the Asian PlayStation.Blog. The game will join the Instant Game Collection in Hong Kong in March, available to download for free if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, from March 6th 2014.
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes gets Price Drop
Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be getting a price drop on PS4 and Xbox One, reducing the price to match the digital versions of the game on next-gen consoles. The price has been dropped from the original RRP of £39.99 to £29.99. The cost of the digital version for PS3 and Xbox 360 will remain at £19.99.
US PlayStation Store Update for February 25th 2014
Lots of new content is available on the North American PlayStation Store this week, with a number of new PS3 and PS4 games now available to purchase, including Thief. Launch day DLC for Thief is also available too for both platforms, along with other content including new avatars, PS3 themes and PS Vita games.
PlayStation Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0 Available in Europe on Friday
The PlayStation Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0 was expected to release in Europe around two weeks ago, but branded as the “Gold Wireless Stereo Headset”. Sony has tweeted that the headset will now be available to purchase on February 28th (this Friday) and that you can pre-order the headset from Amazon.co.uk.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Comparison Video Released
Konami are being thorough with their coverage of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, releasing a 4-way comparison video of the game being played on next-gen and current-gen consoles. The video shows the game being played on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, comparing the differences in textures, lighting, and general detail.
New inFamous: Second Son Gameplay Footage Released
With less than a month to go until PS4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son is released, Sony and Sucker Punch has released two videos showing the game’s TV advert in Europe and North America. The two 30-second TV spots show adrenaline-fueled gameplay that dive into the defiant attitude of the game, combining both music and industrial superpowers.
