After years of asking, Final Fantasy fans are finally getting a remake of Final Fantasy VII, which originally released on the PlayStation. Regarded as one of the best FF games, Sony and Square Enix announced that a rename is in the works and will be coming to the PS4 and PS Vita.
To celebrate 20 years of PlayStation in Europe, we’ve created a very special 20th Anniversary Edition of the Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller. Launching September across Europe, this limited edition controller is sports the “Original Grey” colour like the first PlayStation console and also features the iconic original coloured PlayStation family logo.
The PS4 has finally been updated with a media player. A new Media Player icon will appear on the PS4’s Dynamic Menu letting you download the new application and allow you to play various video, audio and image formats. The Media Player works with both your home server and when plugging a USB stick with media into one of the available ports on the PS4.
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s creed Syndicate at E3 2015. The new trailer shows protagonist Jacob in a host of Victorian London environments, on top of a carriage and plunging into the Thames, ending in a bar fight.
New content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with a selection of four new PS4 games and one new PS Vita game. You can also pre-order two upcoming games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops III (PS3). New DLC and playable demos are available on the store too.
Ahead of E3 2015, Insomniac Games have released the first footage for Ratchet & Clank on the PS4. The video includes glimpses of footage from the film, and then your first-ever look at gameplay footage directly from the game coming exclusively to PS4. In addition, you can also find a 8-minute gameplay video.
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, with four new PS4 games added, three new PS3 games and one new PS Vita game. New games include LEGO Jurassic World (PS3, PS4), Payday 2: Crimewave Edition (PS4) and Zen Studios CastleStorm Super Bundle (PS4, PS4, PSV).
Documentation published by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has revealed that two new PS4 models are inbound. The models, codenamed CUH-1215A and CUH-1215B, will sport the same design as the current model but will include updated components. The CUH-1215B model will also come with a 1 TB Hard Drive.
Naughty Dog has announced the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, featuring the original three Uncharted games on the PS4. The three games, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, will be remastered in 1080p and 60fps and will release on the PS4 this October.
