Release notes for patch v1.05 for Rocket League have been released by developer Psyonix via Twitter. The patch itself is expected within the next two weeks, although an exact timeframe was not revealed. There will be some server downtime as the below features are added to the game, which includes a Raked Season mode, and as a result the leaderboards will be out-of-sync.

Sony Details Official PS4 Firmware 3.00 Features
Sony has officially detailed the features of upcoming PS4 Firmware Update 3.00 (codenamed “Kenshin”), and the new host of features it brings to the PS4. The firmware update adds oft-requested updates from users, and also increases the cloud storage capacity of PlayStation Plus from 1GB to 10GB – something that we’ve talked about previously.
EU PlayStation Store Update for September 1st 2015
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store today, with a number of new games available on all three PlayStation platforms. New games include Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS4, PS3), Mad Max (PS4) and Grow Home (PS4, free on PS+). September’s PlayStation Plus content is also available to download from today too.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Coming in March 2016
Naught Dog has officially revealed the release date for the next game in the Uncharted series. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be releasing on 18th March 2016, exclusively on the PS4. In addition to announcing a release date, two special editions of the game have also been revealed: the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Special Edition and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Libertalia Collector’s Edition.
FIFA 16 Demo Available from September 8th 2015
EA will be releasing a playable demo of FIFA 16 on September 8th 2015, giving gamers a go at the game before the full game releases on September 22. The demo will allow players to play as one of 12 teams, two of which are Women’s National Teams, in three Stadiums, with four game modes available.
PS4 Firmware 3.00 Features Leaked, Includes YouTube Broadcasting and Community Features
Features for the PS4’s next major firmware update have been leaked from the beta version of the update. Sony has confirmed that it is working on a new firmware update, but has refused to confirm whether all the features described below will make it into the final version. Sony also says that the new update will be available, but declined to give a release date.
EU PlayStation Store Update for August 11th 2015
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store with ten new PS4 games available for purchase, including Everybody Goes to Rapture! and TorqueL (available on PS Vita too). You can also find new downloadable content, and the PES 2016 demo for PS4 and PS3.
Final Fantasy XV “Dawn” Trailer Released
Square-Enix revealed a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV at Gamescom in Cologne last week, titled “Dawn”. The 3-minute trailer teases events that occurred 15 years before the game, effectively acting as a prologue to the game, but it’s a rather boring trailer and doesn’t really reveal much about the “dramatic events” Square Enix states in the description.
EU PlayStation Store Update for August 4th 2015
The European PlayStation Store has been updated with new content today, although this week’s update is DLC heavy. You can find four new PS4 games, along with August’s Instant Game Collection, which includes Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and God of War Ascension.
Vote to Play Announced, Lets PlayStation Plus Subscribers Vote for Free Games
Sony has announced a new feature exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers: Vote to Play. The new feature lets subscribers vote on several as-yet unreleased PS4 games to be included in the upcoming month’s game line-up. Although it won’t be a monthly feature, it gives games the power to choose which free game they want to receive.
