Dontnod Entertainment has announced that the first episode of Life is Strange is now free to download on the PS4 and PS3. The first episode, titled Chrysalis, will remain free to download regardless of whether you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber or not. US PlayStation Store Update for 19th July 2016

New content is available on the US PlayStation Store including nine new PS4 games, and new PS Vita game and a new PSP game. New and notable games this week include 10 Second Ninja X (PS4, PS Vita), and I am Setsuna (PS4). You can also find new add-on content for a number of PS4 and PS3 games.

Telltale’s Batman Series Gets First Episode in August

Telltale Games have announced that the first episode in their new Batman series is coming to consoles and other platforms in August. The August release will be digital only, but a physical version will be available for purchase starting September 13th in North America and September 16th in Europe as a special Season Pass Disc. The exact date for the August digital-only release has yet to be revealed.
Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom Ready for Big Release

With the gaming option available now it is extremely difficult to develop a game that will grasp customer interest immediately. It takes time to build up a reputation and so for some games it is about having a distinguishing feature that makes it accessible to the masses. Whether that is excellent graphics, gameplay or design, or a combination of all three, but there is a high standard expected in the gaming industry given the amount of platforms and devices that can be used to game with.
ARK: Survival of the Fittest Built For eSports on PS4

Some time ago we learned that Studio Wildcard’s successful PC game ARK: Survival Evolved would be coming to PS4 in 2016. Reports have differed on when exactly this thrilling action/adventure game would reach the shelves for PS4, with some predicting June (which didn’t turn out to be accurate) and others looking to the holidays. But while PS4 fans are eagerly awaiting Survival Evolved, we’ve learned more recently that a newer version of the game — ARK: Survival Of The Fittest — will also be coming to PS4, largely for the purpose of eSports competition.

Sony: Every PlayStation VR Title will be DualShock 4 Compatible

Sony has shared some new information on the PlayStation VR headset, launching this October. Sony has clarified that every title released for PlayStation VR will be compatible with their DualShock 4 controller, and that the Move and Aim controllers are optional, but will enhance game experiences. The announcement comes after some confusion with boxart showing PlayStation Move as a required accessory.
