The exploit is currently too complicated for just anyone to use it, but it could allow users to play pirated games.
The end of 2009 has given PlayStation 3 sales a huge bump. According to a Sony Press Release, over 3.8 million PlayStation 3 consoles were sold between November 23 to December 28 worldwide.
