At their Gamescom press conference, Sony revealed that Xbox 360 and PC title, Minecraft, will be coming to the PS4. Later it was confirmed that the title would also be coming to the PS3 and PS Vita. The news was confirmed by Adam Boyes, who is part of Sony’s Publisher & Developer Relations team , via Twitter.

Rainbow Skies Announced for PS3 and PS Vita
The sequel to RPG Rainbow Moon, Rainbow Skies, has been announced and will be coming exclusively to PS3 and PS Vita in 2014. The game has been in development for almost a year now, and will take place in a new world, with new characters, new monsters, and a story that isn’t linked to its predecessor.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Exclusive Missions Detailed
The PlayStation version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will include one hour of exclusive content starring Assassin’s Creed: Liberation heroine, Aveline de Grandpré. The bonus DLC will come bundled with the PS3 / PS4 copies of the game, and feature three additional missions. However, the missions won’t be a follow up to Assassin’s Creed Liberation, but instead more of a “short story”.
Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference Dated
Sony has confirmed their presence at Gamescom next month in Cologne, Germany, by revealing the date and time for their Press Conference. Sony’s press conference will take place a day before the the event, on August 20th 2013 at 7pm CET / 6pm BST. The conference will take place at the Staatenhaus am Rheinpark in Cologne, and is expected to be live-streamed.
PS4 vs PS3 Side-by-Side Comparison
PlayStation Access has kindly done a comparison between the PS4 and the launch PS3 console, to show you exactly how the two compare in size and shape. It’s pretty obvious that the PS4 is much smaller than the PS3, but this video clearly shows just how great the difference is. Now, all we need is a comparison with the PS3 Slim and PS3 “Super” Slim models.
Soul Calibur 2 HD Announced for PS3
Namco has revealed that it will be re-releasing PS2 title Soul Calibur 2 on current-gen consoles this year as Soul Calibur 2 HD. The game will include the PS2 exclusive character Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken series, and will feature improved graphics and online gameplay. The game was originally released on Xbox, PS2 and GameCube, each platform having it’s own exclusive character.

Everybody’s Golf Coming to PS3 Next Week
PS Vita launch game Everybody’s Golf (or Hot Shots Golf if you’re in the US) has been ported to the PS3 and will be released next week on the PlayStation Store. The game will support four player local multiplayer and PlayStation Move controller functionality. The PS Vita version will also be patched to allow cross-play with the PS3 version and cross-buy of all DLC.
Assassin’s Creed IV “A Pirate’s Life on High Seas” Trailer Released
Ubisoft have just released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV, titled “A Pirate’s Life on High Seas”, and shows off the life of piracy including drinking, singing and killing. The trailer features new snippets of gameplay, including fight scenes and Kenway jumping from one ship to another.
Gaikai Will Give Gamers Access to Catalogue of “Critically Acclaimed” PS3 Games
Sony’s cloud gaming strategy was revealed at E3, which will game use of Gaikai’s streaming technology to give PS4, PS3 and PS Vita gamers access to library of PS3 games. However, it’s been clarified that only “critically acclaimed” games will be available via the service. The latest video from the PlayStation Access team also reveals that the service will later be expanded to include more legacy PlayStation titles.
