Insomniac Games’ latest release, Ratchet & Clank (PS4), has gotten off to a great start according to April’s PlayStation Store chart. It was the fastest selling game in the series to date, and topped the PS4 downloads chart, with other new comer, Dark Souls III, coming in third.
May’s PlayStation Plus games are now live on the PlayStation Store, adding six new games to the Instant Game Collection. Notable games this month include Dictator Sim Tropico 5 (PS4) and platformer LocoRoco Cocoreccho! (PS3). The six new games are available to download in North America and Europe.
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with a massive 18 new PS4 games and bundles available to download, including the new Ratchet & Clank, Invisible, Inc. and more. You can also find four new PS3 games and a couple of new PS Vita games.
PS3 Firmware update 4.80 is available to download. The minor update improves system performance, likely in relation to newly released games for the console. There hasn’t been a major firmware update for the PS3 in years, but at least bugs are still being addressed.
New games are coming to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection next week, on Tuesday, 5th April 2016. Six new games will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free, including London-based zombie-survival game Zombi (PS4) and team-based shooter Dead Star (PS4). SCEE has released the PlayStation Store Chart for February 2016, revealing the top selling digital games across all three PlayStation platforms. On the PS4, Firewatch was the top selling game, beating Far Cry Primal, which came in 2nd place. On the PS3, FIFA 16 continued to top the chart, but Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare made a re-entry in time for the sequel.
New content is available on the US PlayStation Store, with a variety of new PS4 and PS Vita games added. New games include Heavy Rain (PS4), Screen Cheat (PS4) and Digimon World Cyber Sleuth (PS4, PS Vita). You can also find six new games available in the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection.
Sony has revealed the six new games coming to PlayStation Plus in March 2016, which includes the winner of the recent Vote to Play poll, Broforce. The new games will be available in North America and Europe as part of the PlayStation Store update next week, on 1st March 2016. The other games you can look forward to include Super Stardust HD (PS3) and Flame Over (PS Vita).
