October 2016 saw the release of many new titles, including a host of PlayStation VR titles. However, Battlefield 1 finished top of the class beating last month’s top seller, FIFA 17, and other new releases like Mafia III and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. Several PlayStation VR titles made it into the top 20 this month, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End made a re-entry into the chart in 7th place.

EU PlayStation Store Update for 8th November 2016
This week’s European PlayStation Store update has plenty of new content to enjoy, including nine new PS4 games, two new PS3 games and two new PS Vita games. EU PlayStation Store Update for 1st November 2016
The first update for November is now live on the European PlayStation Store, bringing with it fifteen new PS4 games, one new PS3 game, and six free titles to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. New games this week include Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (PS4) and Blazblue Centralfictioni (PS4, PS3). If you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can download Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (PS4), Costume Quest 2 (PS3), and more, for free.
PS3 System Software Ver. 4.81
A new minor firmware update has been released for the PS3, updating the system software to v4.81. The update is mandatory, and is required to access the PlayStation Network. The changelog states that this update improves system performance.
US PlayStation Store Update for 25th October 2016
Lots of new content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with plenty of new games and add-on content to enjoy. You can find a massive nineteen new PS4 games, one new PS3 games and five new PS Vita games. Lots of new add-on content, themes and avatars are available as part of this weeks update too.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for November 2016 Revealed
The free PlayStation Plus games for November 2016 has been revealed, and include a few spooky games for your post Halloween gaming sessions. You can also find new DLC, including the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass.
Top PSN Sellers for September 2016 in North America
The PlayStation Store Chart has been revealed for September 2016, revealing the top selling digital titles in North America. On the PS4, sports games dominated the top 5, with NBA 2K17 selling the most number of digital copies, beating FIFA 17 and Madden NFL 17, which closed in second and third places, respectively. On the PS3, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 was the top selling title, again beating FIFA 17.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for September 2016
The European PlayStation Store chart has been released for September, and reveals that FIFA 17 was the top selling title, despite launching in it’s final week. The game managed to top both the PS4 and PS3 downloads chart, beating the other major new entry Destiny: Rise of Iron, although it did manage to steal second place.
