This week’s list of new arrivals is filled with solid classic titles and some adaptations of your favorite heroes or stories. On the classics side, you can find the first ever five episodes of Stan Lee’s Daredevil. And, for a new spin on the JJ Abrams’ blockbuster Star Trek you can find Star Trek: The Movie Adaptation #1. This week on the PlayStation Store, the first DLC for Heavy Rain and Army of Two: The 40th Day is now available for download. You can also find new DLC for many other titles, including LittleBigPlanet, Rock Band and Guitar Hero. The Namco Museum Essentials demo and full game is available to download or purchase in Europe, as well as the Warhawk Dynamic Theme.
Not a lot of new titles are available on the PSP Store this week. Europe has three new downloadable titles available for purchase along with a new minis title. Game add-on content includes new LittleBigPlanet costume and level kit, and an update to Buzz! Quiz World. Finally, you will gind a new theme and wallpaper available for download.
If you are looking for some cheap games to enjoy over the long weekend, you will be glad to know that a number of PSP favourites will be getting discounted this Thursday, 1st of April 2010. For two weeks only, you’ll be able to grab a great deal on some great PSP titles. The promotion features a range of well loved games that you’ll want to snap up at these brilliant prices.
According to rumors over the past few days, it seems like the day of the week on which the PlayStation Store is updated in Europe is changing. Since the PlayStation Store was first introduced in 2006 in Firmware version 1.10, store updates have always been on a Thursday (except during holiday periods). From May 5th, the day will be changing to Wednesdays instead.
This week on the PSP Comic Store, you can get a free comic in the form of Kong: King of Skull Island, by Markosia, from the European Store. Markosia also release The Dark – a stunning new sci-fi thriller that will have you begging for more. From IDW you can find the first issue of The Ghoul. Locke & Key continues to get better and better with the start of a new story arc Crown of Shadows. Finally a new series is released on the Store – Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream.
This week on the PlayStation Store, Europe and the US has received a massive content update including a ton of new add-on content, permanent price deductions and new premium avatars for Heavy Rain. Episode 6 of The Tester is available on the US store and new add-on content includes Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks, LittleBigPlanet costumes and level kits and more.
This week on the PSP Store you will find new Easter related add-on content for LittleBigPlanet, complete with a free Sackboy costume. A new PSP minis title is also available in both the US and Europe and a number of new downloadable games have hit the stores too.
This week on the PSP Store, Episode 5 of The Tester is available to download from the US store, marking the half-way point for season 1. A number of new downloadable games are also available including Patchwork Heroes in both the US and Europe. This week on the Comic store, Markosia Enterprises has joined the Digital Comics team, so lookout for their content very soon. This week, you will find Dragon Age, which is in the digital comics store ahead of its release in comic book shops. Also, All Hail Megatron, the final episode of Locke & Key, plus 5 more issues of Vintage X-Men (1963) from Marvel.
