With the holiday season in full effect, Sony is giving PlayStation Plus subscribers extra discounts and free games. The total value of all this month’s offers total over $250 with about $50 being free games. This month’s free content includes the PS3 full game Tomb Raider: Underworld and PSN game Marvel Pinball.
Similar to the ‘12 Deals of Christmas‘, PlayStation Plus subscribers can also look forward to 12 gifts through December. Starting today, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download one title from PlayStation Store at no extra cost, every two days – this will include 8 PSN titles, two minis and two PSone Classics.
Starting November 1st 2011, PlayStation Plus subscribers in North America can look forward to free access to Hydrophobia Prophecy. Subscribers can also download Classic PSOne titles Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3, along with CTR: Crash Team Racing available through November.
It’s a new month, and a new batch of PlayStation Plus content is available today on the European PlayStation Store, with the suitably Halloween-inspired Costume Quest available at no cost to subscribers for the next two weeks. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer returns to Plus this week as well.

US PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this month. September’s two updates includes 10 free games including, Plants vs. Zombies, the furious shoot-em-up Astro Tripper, and the final game in the SEGA Genesis Collection, Altered Beast. The other seven games are various Minis and PSOne Classics, all of which can be found below.
PlayStation Plus will be getting access to the Assassin’s Creed Revelations Beta on September 3rd 2011. The beta will feature nine playable characters, all unlocked from the very start, and three maps, all also unlocked too. Read more details about the beta below.
