By now, you’ve probably already read Sony’s announcement on the ‘Instant Game Collection’ at their E3 Press Conference. For Europe, the first PlayStation Plus update goes live later today. This month, Plus subscribers will be able to download 10 games up front, and from next month, 3 of those games will change and you will get at least 3 games per month thereafter.
From tomorrow, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to grab Stranger’s Wrath HD, inFamous 2, MotorStorm: Apocalypse, LittleBigPlanet 2, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Renegade Ops, and a number of other games, all for free. SCEA announced a similar selection of games for North America at last night’s E3 Press Conference.
Sony have announced that PlayStation Plus members will be getting new free titles starting tomorrow (in North America at least). The new titles include inFamous 2, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Saints Row 2 – a total of 12 new titles will be available to download for free.
It looks like PlayStation Plus will be a big part of Sony’s E3 Press Conference later today, according to Sony’s E3 teaser page. The banner on the PlayStation Website tells readers to expect something big with regards to PlayStation Plus – specifically “The Future Of PlayStation Plus”.

Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus content subscribers can expect in May. Unfortunately, there will be no PSOne Classic title included in next month’s update, instead, you can get your hands on the PS2 Classic Max Payne. There are also a massive 17 new full game trials for you to try out too.
The content list for April’s PlayStation Plus update has been revealed by SCEE. Next month, you can look forward to two EA games: Shift 2: Unleashed and Shank 2 (also available in the US). The PS one Classic this month is Silent Hill, and you can also find new themes, lots of avatars and an avatar pack from the PS VITA favourite, Escape Plan for you guys too.
This April, Sony are preparing some great offers for PlayStation Plus subscribers that will make you think twice about going outside. For starters, Sony have announced the free games coming in April to Plus: PSN Game Shank 2 and PS3 Full Game Shift 2 Unleashed. The Simpsons: Arcade Game hits the PlayStation Network tomorrow (free for PlayStation Plus subscribers). Sony have worked with Gracie Films and Fox to time the release of the game with the 500th episode of The Simpsons so that fans of the show could experience the classic game during an important milestone for the series.
The first PlayStation Plus update for February goes live in Europe tomorrow (Feb 1st 2012). Just like North America, you can expect many free downloads, including Final Fantasy V and The Simpsons Arcade Game. Later on this month, subscribers can also get Far Cry 2 for free for one week only.
