Sony has released the latest firmware update for the PS3, bringing the system software to version v4.25. The minor update increases the cloud storage limit for PlayStation Plus subscribers to 1GB, giving you more space to backup your save data online.

Double Dragon Neon Joins Instant Game Collection in North America
Today’s PlayStation Store update in North America will add two new titles to the Instant Games Collection. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download Double Dragon Neon and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game free once the PlayStation Store has been updated.

EU PlayStation Plus Update for September 2012
As announced at Gamescom last month, Rockstar’s epic open world Western adventure Red Dead Redemption joins the Instant Game Collection later today in Europe. Then, on September 12th yet more games join the collection to keep you entertained until next month.
PlayStation Plus Gets 25% Off This Week
PlayStation Plus will be getting a price cut this week in Europe, with PlayStation owners getting 5% off the current yearly subscription price. From this Wednesday until September 19th, gamers in Europe will be able to pick up a PlayStation Plus subscription for just £30 (€37.49).
North American Instant Game Collection Gets Borderlands in September
Next month, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting 1GB of online cloud storage, new games in the Instant Game Collection, and discounts on titles too. Borderlands will be added to the Instant Games Collection on September 4th 2012, with 50% off all DLC for the title.

There has been plenty of news for PlayStation Plus at Gamescom this week, including PlayStation Plus for PS Vita and the increase in cloud storage space to 1GB. In addition, SCEE has announced three new games to be added to the Instant Game Collection this month. In September, two new titles will be added to the collection too.
DUST 514 Beta Opening Up to PlayStation Plus Subscribers
CCP Games has announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers will have open access to an upcoming DUST 514 beta event, which will take place between August 21st and September 4th. At the start of the beta, the developers will also be releasing the “Precursor” update to the game, adding new maps, gameplay features and more.
