A new video preview of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has revealed two new characters to the game’s roster. Nariko from Heavenly Sword and Sir Daniel Fortesque from Medievil are the latest characters to be added to the game this week, along with Raiden and Evil Cole.

Raiden Joins PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Line-Up
Sony and SuperBot has revealed that Konami’s Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid series will join the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster. The new character will be officially reveal at The Penny Arcade Expo (also known as PAX) in Seattle, which takes place from August 31st until September 2nd, and confirms the previous leaked information.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Getting Limited Public Beta In September
SuperBot and SCEE will be opening up PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale to the public in September, but for a limited time only. The beta test will be across both the PS3 and PS Vita between September 11th and September 18th 2012. The beta is opt-in, so you will need to sign-up for a chance to get access before the game is released.
Evil Cole Joins PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Line-Up
SuperBot and Sony have announced that Evil Cole from Sucker Punch’s inFamous is joining the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster. Evil Cole harnesses the powers of both electrokinesis and pyrokinesis in battle, offering a style more ruthless in nature than his moral counterpart, Cole MacGrath.

New screenshots of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale have emerged showing some of the newly announced characters in action, including Sackboy, Spike, Ratchet and Dante. The screens also show more of the different stage featured in the game, including the Stowaway stage announced at Gamescom.

At Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference last night, Sony revealed four new characters for the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale line-up. The announcement confirms the leaks earlier to be true, at least in part. Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet) and Dante (Devil May Cry) were just two of the rumored characters in the game, which have now been confirmed by Sony and SuperBot.

SuperBot and Sony have announced that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has been delayed so that the team can spend more time “polishing, tuning and incorporating some of the great feedback from the current limited beta” to create the best possible fighting game.
