Super Stardust HD was originally at full HD resolution was it was released a few years ago, running at full 1080p resolution. With the 3D update, running the game in 3D mode only runs at 720p but at a whopping 120fps (60fps per eye). Luckily, full HD resolution is retained on a normal HDTV.

3D Gaming Now Available on PS3
The first set of 3D games are now available to download from the PlayStation Store. By downloading the 3D Collection you can play WipEout HD, SuperStardust HD, PAIN and a MotorStorm Pacific Rift demo in amazing stereoscopic 3D. If you already own the games you can upgrade for free or you can download all four for the bargain price of €29.99.
MAG Patch v1.06 Available Tomorrow
Zipper Interactive’s senior community manager Jeremy Dunham has finally revealed that a new patch for MAG will be available this week. As posted on the games official blog, the massive update will be released tomorrow from 1am Pacific/ 4am Eastern/ 8am GMT.The update includes modified weapon performance, new medi-kit functionality and more.
Uncharted 2 Updated to Version v1.08
Uncharted 2 was updated this week, bringing the game to version v1.08. The patch was released in Europe on Saturday, May 29, 2010, and in the remaining regions worldwide on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. The patch fixes a number of issues in the game but has also removed the twitter update functionality found in the game. The changelog for the update can be found below.
PS3 Games Getting Free 3D Patches
CVG has learned that several PlayStation 3 titles will be getting free patches to upgrade them to 3D. The 3D patch launches this summer – rumored for a June release, and four games will be update to support 3D from launch. The four titles, WipEout HD, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, SuperStardust HD and PAIN, will also come free with Sony’s 3D Bravia televisions.
Super Street Fighter IV Patch Coming Mid-June
Super Street Fighter IV will be getting patched soon according to Capcom. A patch is currently being prepped to fix several issues and various exploits in the game. The patch is scheduled for release on June 15th for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, which is the same day the free Tournament Mode DLC will be available.
Torne Getting Major Update
The PlayStation 3 DVR Kit, Torne, will be receiving a major update next month adding several new features. The update will bring the device to version 2.0 and allow users to record HD footage three times longer than the currently supported, and will allow users to pause, rewind or forward TV while recording it.
Hustle Kings Getting Patched This Week
At 5:00pm tomorrow, Hustle Kings receives a new patch that improves the game and preps the title for a new downloadable pack coming in June. The patch tomorrow will improve the breaking mechanics to add a randomization element, as well as add a number of visual tweaks to the game – the changelog can be found below.
ModNation Racers Loading Patch Arriving After Launch
In our review of ModNation Racers, the biggest letdown for the game was the incredibly long loading times. SCEA has now confirmed that they are aware of the issues and are working on a patch. However, the patch won’t be available until after the game has launched according to Chuck Lacson, SCEA associate marketing manager.
ModNation Racers Patched to v1.01
ModNation Racers has not been released to the public yet, but the game has already received it’s first patch. The patch updates the game to version v1.01 and is 28MB in size. Unfortunately, the changelog for the patch has not been revealed yet so we are unsure of what has changed in the game.
