Assassin’s Creed III is now available in North America, and along with it comes a massive day one patch that fixes issues with the game. The complete changelog is included below, but some of the changes do contain spoilers to the game so be warned before you read the list.
Sony’s new PlayStation Store is now live on the PS3, requiring a 26MB update. The updated store, which was first revealed last week, takes a little longer to load up, but certainly makes a huge difference is both visual appearance and functionality. We’ll be uploading a video of the new Store in action shortly.
Mass Effect 3 is getting patched today, Producer Michael Gamble has tweeted. The patch, one of the biggest patched by the developers, has been in development for the last few months and sets the game up for future DLC, as well as the usual manner of bug fixes, tweaks and more.
Starhawk will become a digital-download title next week when the game is added to the PlayStation Store. The game will be available to download in three different bundles, alongside the release of game patch v1.04. The PSN digital release and patch v1.04 will be available for download on September 26th 2012.
Gran Turismo 5 will be getting a new game patch and DLC next week, to coincide with the launch of the GT5 Academy Edition. The game will be updated to version v1.08, and new DLC will include three brand new cars to race in.
I on the PS3 has a new patch available for download, brining the game to version v1.17. Like the latest LittleBigPlanet PS Vita patch, this update focuses on the cross-buy feature for downloadable content across the different LittleBigPlanet titles, including upcoming title LittleBigPlanet Karting.
Starhawk will be getting a new patch soon, updating the game to version v1.4 and bringing with it three new multiplayer game modes. Better still, the patch is completely free to download. The three new game modes are Gatekeeper, Assault and Arena Deathmatch.
Starhawk is getting updated to version v1.03 today at 2pm Central Time (8:00pm BST), and includes increased level cap, bug fixes, and two free Cypress maps. The patch includes a massive list of changes to the game (included below), and Lightbox Interactive promise even more changes in the next patch (v1.04).
The Skyrim version v1.7 patch, which was released for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim last week, is coming to consoles soon. PS3 owners are still waiting for patch version v1.6 to be released, but this will now be rolled into the v1.7 patch instead.
SSX update version v3.0 has gone live on PS3, according to an announcement from Sony. The update includes two new game modes and plenty of fixes and improvements to the game. A complete changelog for the patch can be found below.
