Lots of new content is available on the North American PlayStation Store this week, and it’s also the first Store update for July 2013. In addition to a number of new PS3 and PS Vita games, Battlefield 3 has also been added to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
A number of new PSN games are available on the PlayStation Store this week, including Hotline Miami, which is cross-buy compatible with the PS Vita. You can also find new DLC content for the PS3 and PS Vita, and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward has been added to the Instant Game Collection.
Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward is coming to PlayStation Plus today in North America, making it the eighth game to be added to the Instant Game Collection in June 2013, along with XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and more.
Sony has revealed that Hotline Miami will be releasing on the PS3 and PS Vita next week in both North America and Europe. The game will launch in North America on June 25th for $9.99, and in Europe on June 26th for £7.29 / €8.99. In addition, the PlayStation versions of the game will have an exclusive new mask designed by Abstraction and Dennaton Games.

Critically acclaimed Saints Row: The Third is coming to the Instant Game Collection in North America today along with a new PS Vita compatible PSP title. The two games will be added to the PlayStation Store as part of today’s weekly update. Both games will be free to download if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, adding to XCOM, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and LittleBigPlanet Karting, which were added to the Instant Game Collection last week.
Andrew House, SCE’s President and CEO, has revealed that the PS4 is coming to western markets first due to “competitive pressures,” referring to Microsoft’s November release for the Xbox One. It will be the first time Sony has released a console in the West before releasing in its home country, Japan.
New content is available on the North America PlayStation Store this week, with lots of new content and discounts to enjoy. Free-to-play title Tekken Revolution is available for download, along with four new games added to the Instant Game Collection. You can also find new E3 trailers, DLC content and more in this week’s update.
PlayStation Plus subscribers in North America can look forward to new games tomorrow as the Instant Game Collection is updated with thee new fixtures and a new game. As mentioned last week, three new games will replace LittleBigPlanet 2, inFamous 2 and Motorstorm Apocalypse for the next 12 months.
Sony America has released it’s own chart for the most downloaded titles on the PlayStation Network in May 2013. On the PS3, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was the most downloaded title, while Soul Sacrifice was the most downloaded title on the PS Vita.
