PlayStation Plus Line-up for August 2014 Confirmed for North America
SCEA has revealed the new games coming to PlayStation Plus this month, which are mostly similar to what Europe is getting. Two of the games in this month’s collection will be completely new, and available to PlayStation Plus subscribers the day they’re released on the PlayStation Store: Road Not Taken (PS4) and Metrico (PS Vita).
PlayStation Now Open Beta Live in North America
As announced at E3 2014 in June, the PlayStation Now open beta is now available in North America, open to all PS4 owners in both the US and Canada. As part of this Open Beta, PS4 users will see PS Now titles fully integrated into PlayStation Store, available to be streamed for various rental durations, including 7-days, 30-days or 90-days.

PS4 Tops Xbox One Sales in June, Despite Xbox One Sales Doubling
The removal of the Kinect from Xbox One has prompted a big increase in sales for the Xbox One, but it’s still struggling to catch up to the PS4. According to new numbers from NPD, Sony’s is the top-selling U.S. next-gen console for June, which marks the sixth month in a row it has collected that honor. Despite the price of the Xbox One dropping by $100, Microsoft is still having trouble beating PS4 sales.

The US PlayStation Store has been updated with new content, including a new PS4 game (Crimsonland), PS3 game (Abyss Odyssey) and PS Vita game (One Piece Unlimited World Red). You can also find lots of new DLC content for all three of the PlayStation platforms.
Top PSN Sellers for June 2014 in North America
SCEA has released the PSN chart for June 2014, revealing the top selling digital games across all of Sony’s platforms. On the PS4, Watch_Dogs was the top selling title, followed by UFC. On the PS3, Minecraft continues to lead the chart for yet another month – there’s just no stopping this game! On the PS Vita, Rainbow Moon was the top selling game.
