Lots of new content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with plenty of new games and add-on content to enjoy. You can find a massive nineteen new PS4 games, one new PS3 games and five new PS Vita games. Lots of new add-on content, themes and avatars are available as part of this weeks update too.
The free PlayStation Plus games for November 2016 has been revealed, and include a few spooky games for your post Halloween gaming sessions. The new games will be available to download from Tuesday, 1st November 2016, and include Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (PS4) and Costume Quest 2 (PS3). Check out the full list below.
The PlayStation Store Chart has been revealed for September 2016, revealing the top selling digital titles in North America. On the PS4, sports games dominated the top 5, with NBA 2K17 selling the most number of digital copies, beating FIFA 17 and Madden NFL 17, which closed in second and third places, respectively. On the PS3, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 was the top selling title, again beating FIFA 17.

Sony has revealed the six new games coming to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection in October. In true Halloween spirit, the line-up includes the remastered Resident Evil (PS4), and will be available on the PlayStation Store from 4th October 2016. Sony has revealed the six new games that will be making their way to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The games will be available to download for free from 6th September 2016, and includes critically acclaimed game Journey (PS4, PS3), Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PS3) and Amnesia: Memories (PS Vita).
In an unusual move, SCEA has announced that the cost of PlayStation Plus will be going up in North America, starting from 22nd September 2016. In the first major price increase for the service, the cost of PlayStation Plus will go up from $49.99 USD / $49.99 CAD for a 12-month subscription to $59.99 USD/ $69.99 CAD. Prices for 3-month and 1-month subscripts are also affected.
DriveClub VR has been confirmed for Europe and North America, following the Japanese announcement a few weeks ago. In Japan, DriveClub VR will be a launch title, releasing on October 13th 2016, however, the European and US release dates are less specific and simply states it will be “out this year”. The game will be exclusive to PlayStation VR and the PS4.
Sony has announced the new games coming to PlayStation Plus in August 2016. As usual, you can expect six new games to join the Instant Game Collection – two for each PlayStation platform. New games in August include Tricky Towers (PS4), Yakuza 5 (PS3) and Patapon 3 (PS Vita). The line-up also includes a game that was previously part of PlayStation Plus: Retro/Grade (PS3).
