The US PlayStation Store chart for April 2017 reveals Persona 5 as the top selling digital PS4 game, with some old favourites re-entering the chart due to various promotions. On the PS3, Persona 5 came in 3rd, and Mortal Blitz topped the PlayStation VR Chart. Full details below.
Sony has some great titles in store for PlayStation Plus subscribers in May 2017. Six new games will be available to download for free from Tuesday, 2nd May 2017, which include Housemarque’s Alienation (PS4) and Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands (PS4).
Last month, Ubisoft’s multiplayer sandbox Ghost Recon Wildlands was the top selling title according to the US PlayStation Store Chart. The game managed to beat the other newcomer Mass Effect: Andromeda, which sold well to come in third place.
Sony has revealed the full PlayStation Plus line-up for April 2017, which adds six new for subscribers to download for free. Alongside previously announced Drawn to Death, subscribers can look forward to 10 Second Ninja X (PS Vita, PS4) and Alien Rage (PS4).
Sony has released the US PlayStation Store Chart for February 2017, revealing the top purchased games across Sony’s platforms. On the PS4, For Honor was the top downloaded title, followed by new release Horizon Zero Dawn, in 2nd place, with only one day of sales counted in the chart.
Sony has revealed March’s PlayStation Plus line-up, which brings six free titles to PlayStation Plus subscribers. The games will be available after the PlayStation Store update on 7th March 2017, and include Tearaway Unfolded (PS4), Lumo (PS Vita, Cross Buy with PS4), and Earth Defense Force 2025 (PS3).
Sony has announced a free PlayStation Plus multiplayer weekend, where anyone without a PlayStation Plus subscription can play online for a limited time. In North America, it starts at 12:01 AM Pacific on 17th February, and runs until 23rdFebruary at 11:59 PM Pacific. In Europe, it starts next week from 10am on 22nd February.
The first Top Download list of 2017 has been revealed for North America, listing the top downloaded titles in January 2017. ARK: Survivor’s Pack was the top downloaded game on the PS4, beating RESIDENT EVIL 7 biohazard. Surprisingly, majority of the PS4 chart was filled with old titles making a re-entry, thanks to the January Sales.
Sony has revealed the six new games coming to PlayStation Plus in February 2017, which include LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4) and Not a Hero (PS4). The new games will be available to download on 7th February 2017, which is also when January’s games will be removed. The line-up is exactly the same for both North America and Europe. Sony America has released details on the top selling PlayStation Store games for Decemeber 2016, and the best-sellers overall in 2016. The best selling title on the PS4 was Rocket League, followed by Battlefield 1, and Minecraft. As for December 2016, ARK: Survivor’s Pack was the top seller on the PS4.
