Konami has revealed a Limited Edition PS4 console with Metal Gear Solid 5 branding, dubbed the “Fox Edition”. The console will come with Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and will be available to purchase on March 20th 2014 in Japan for ¥46,980. The Limited Edition console itself features nothing more than a Foxhoud decal.

Metal Gear Solid V Runs at 1080p at 60fps on PS4
Konami has revealed the graphical differences of Metal Gear Solid V between the different PlayStation and Xbox consoles it will be available on. The PS4 version will be the only console to support full 1080p resolution at 60fps, while the Xbox One will run at 720p resolution with 60 fps. Both the previous-gen consoles will run at 720p at 30fps with internal scaling.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PS4 Footage Released
New footage of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on the PS4 has been released from Tokyo Game Show last week, featuring over 12 minutes of footage from the game. The footage was taken from a special demo of the game at the expo, showing just how impressive the game is looking on the next-gen console.
E3 2013: Extended Metal Gear Solid V Trailer
Konami has released a extended nine-minute trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Segements of the trailer were shown off during Microsoft’s E3 press conference, and has been confirmed for release on the PS4 and Xbox One, in addition to the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Kiefer Sutherland Confirmed as Voice of Snake in MGS 5
In Konami’s pre-E3 conference, it was confirmed that Kiefer Sutherland will be the new voice of Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5, replacing the original voice David Hayter. The 24 actor was chosen to replace the voice of Snake as Kojima said he wanted to acquire the services of someone who could convey “a more subdued performance expressed through subtle facial movements and tone of voice, rather than words.”
Metal Gear Solid 5 Confirmed by Kojima
Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 5 is in the works and that it will be built using the Fox Engine. The developer told French magazine IG that the game is in development and will see the return of Solid Snake. At E3 2012, Kojima confirmed that the Fox engine runs on the PS3, Xbox 360 and current PCs.
