If you can’t get enough of MAG, you’ll be happy to know that you will be able to personalize your Home Personal Space and Avatar with furniture and costumes from the game. You can find the Ballistic Armour set for S.V.E.R., Reinforced Composite Armour for Raven, while for Valor there’s the Reinforced Fibre Armour. Also available for each faction are a Footlocker and Lamp or Light Fixture.

MAG Patch v1.04 Details
MAG was recently patched to version v1.04, fixing a number of issues and server enhancements. The patch weighs in just under 40MB and contains a total of seven fixes for the game. Fixes include tuning of the sniper rifles to be less effective out of scope-mode, anti-cheat improvements on the server and fixes for collisions. Check out the complete list of fixes below.
MAG DLC Coming Next Week
The first downloadable content will be heading to MAG next week, on March 25th 2010, and best of all, it’s free! Dubbed the “Trooper Gear Pack,” the will offer a number of cool goodies for veterans and first timers alike. Out of everything in the pack, the most popular will likely be the oft-requested “Flashbang Grenade” that can be used to confuse, disorient or distract your enemies in a single throw.
MAG Patched to v1.03
MAG has received a massive patch this morning, updating the game to v1.03. The patch weighs in between 41MB and 49MB depending on your region and fixes a lot of issues and exploits in the game – almost 30 issues have been fixed in total. Developers Zipper Interactive are confident that the changes make the game “even better than it already was.”
MAG Patch v1.02 Available Today
MAG patch v1.02 is now available to download addressing feedback from players. A number of Field Support adjustments have been made to the game that should help you steer through the battlefield more effectively. These fixes will also clean things up for players of other classes who don’t have a need to see who is hurt and who isn’t.
MAG Patch v1.01a Details
The latest MAG patch is now live, fixing issues that players may have been noticing with the skies in-game, and will provide a little more ‘visual fidelity’ when looking upward. The game servers are also being modified to improve performance, which will result is some downtime. Gamers in the UK will get downtime between 9am and 11am GMT today (1am to 3am PST).
MAG Beta vs. Final Game
With the release of MAG just days away in Europe and the UK, most of you are probably wondering what has changed in the game since the last beta, which took place earlier this month. MAG Beta 5.0 Statistics
Developers of MAG, Zipper Interactive, have revealed the statistics to the latest MAG Beta which took place earlier this month. Just like the statistics for the previous betas, the Beta 5 stats were astonishing, with over 1 million downloads of the beta client and over 619,000 gaining at least one experience point in the six-day window that beta was available on.
MAG Trophies
Sony has revealed all 38 unlockable trophies for MAG on the PlayStation.Blog after receiving countless requests for them. The race for the Platinum trophy begins when the game ships out on January 26th 2010. In addition to the platinum trophy, the game also has four gold trophies and 13 silver ones to achieve. MAG Open Beta Announced
With the release of MAG not far off now, Zipper and Sony Computer Entertainment have teamed up to bring you the final and 100% open PSN Beta. This will be a global Beta allowing you to compete with players from all over the world, with access to the game’s 64-player ‘Sabotage’ and 256-player ‘Domination’ game modes. New Beta users will have access to the download on the PlayStation Store from January 4th onwards, with the Beta ending on January 10th at 07:59 GMT.
