Sony’s PS4 launch has largely gone off without a hitch, selling over one million units in the first 24 hours. A very impressive milestone considering the console is only currently available in North America. The 1 million units is actually the number of consoles in the hands of customers, and not the number of units shipped.

PS4 Owners in North America Will Get Three Promotional Vouchers on Launch Day
Sony has revealed the gamers who pick up the PS4 on launch day will be getting some special promotional voucher in the box. The console launches at midnight on November 15th, and in the box you’ll find vouchers to try out Sony’s wide range of entertainment services, including PlayStation Plus and Music Unlimited.
PS4 Photos from Stores and Warehouses in North America
The PS4 launch is set to be one of the biggest launches in PlayStation History, especially if these photos are anything to go by. Photos are being released from retails stores and warehouses in North America showing just how many units are being prepared for the November 15th launch.

The PS4 launches in North America in just over week, on November 15th 2013. To celebrate the launch, you can watch the PS4 All Access: Greatness Awaits livestream on 15th November from 4.00am GMT in New York City. The event will be streamed on UStream, and will include exclusive world premieres and announcements about the PS4 games that will define 2014 and beyond.
Sony Making a Loss on PS4, Expecting Profits from PlayStation Plus and Games
As is usual with new consoles, Sony won’t be making a profit on the PS4 hardware at launch, Eurogamer reports. However, Sony expects some profit from users signing up to PlayStation Plus and purchasing at least one launch title. Sony is selling the PS4 at a loss of approximately $60 a unit – around the cost of a game in the US.
New PlayStation Store Postponed in North America
The new PlayStation Store, expected to be released in North America this week, has been postponed following teething issues with other regions. The October 23rd launch of the new store in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil will be held back until further notice, while SCEA resolve the remaining issues with the store.

Sorcery Launch Trailer Released
