Messaging friends on the PlayStation Network is now easier thanks to the newly released PlayStation Messages app on iOS and Android. This new app helps you contact your PSN friends in a quicker, easier way than ever before. The app supports text and voice messages, and also the stickers recently introduced on the PS4.
SingStar Coming Soon to PS4 with Mobile App
SingStar has been announced for the PS4, and will be coming to the console later this year. The game will come with a companion application that will be compatible with iOS and Android, letting you turn your smartphone into a microphone for the game. The app will also work with both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game
Sony Updates PlayStation Companion App with New Features
Sony has updated the PlayStation Companion app on iOS and Android to version v1.60, adding some new features to the application along with improvements. Among the changes is the ability to view Live Streams in the [Live from PlayStation] section, supporting both Twitch and UStream.
PS4 Mobile App Now Available to Download
The new PlayStation App for iOS and Android is now available to download, just in time for the PS4’s release in North America. The Android App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store here, while the iOS app is currently only available on iTunes in North America here, and expected to be available in Europe very soon.

New details about the PS4’s companion application on iOS and Android have been revealed, along side confirmation of a PS Vita version of the app. According to SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida, “It’s an application that anyone can download for free on iOS and Android devices.”

Version 1.1 of the Official PlayStation Mobile application is now available to download for the iOS and Android. Since the last update, a lot of changes have been made to the application. A list of all the changes to version v1.1 can be found below. In addition to the below changes, Sony has also fixed a issue with siging into the PlayStation Network.
