Final Fantasy XIV PS3 Update and Interview
When it was first launched back in 2010, Final Fantasy XIV for PC was criticized by players and the media, and eventually the planned PS3 version was postponed. Since then, Square Enix decided to reshuffle the leading developers of the game. Version 2.0 of the game will mark a new beginning for the game with it launches this Winter, alongside the PS3 version, hopefully.

E3 2010: Sony Wants to Keep the PSP Going for 10 Years
In an interview with Joystiq, John Koller, Director of Hardware Marketing at SCEA, said that the PSP will be around for 10-years. Koller stressed once again that the first PSP will have a 10-year cycle: “There is definitely a 10-year life cycle for the PSP, and maybe even more.”
Majority of PS3 Games Will Be 3D in Future
Sony’s first set of 3D games – dubbed the ‘stereoscopic collection’ – is now available to download from the PlayStation Store, including titles like WipEout HD and Super Stardust HD. In a interview with CVG, UK PlayStation boss Ray Maguire confirmed that majority of first-party games will be 3D in the future.

Heavy Rain Sex Scenes ‘Not Porn’
The creator of PS3 psychological thriller Heavy Rain and boss of development studio Quantic Dreams, David Cage, has defended the game’s sex scenes – insisting they are “definitely not porn”. In an exclusive interview with PSM3 Cage said that the game’s steamy moments were “about real characters doing what adults do when they fall in love”. “There are a couple [of sex scenes], but it’s definitely not porn,” he said.
