Hulu Plus Open to All PS3 Users Next Week
The PlayStation Plus exclusive beta of Hulu Plus will be coming to an end soon, and the service will open up to all PlayStation users early next week. The Hulu Plus subscription service offers full current season runs of hit TV programs from major broadcast programming studios and will add to the more than 27,800 movies and TV episodes already available on thePlayStation Store.
Hulu Plus Preview Now Available on PS3
PlayStation Plus subscribers can now test out Hulu Plus on the PS3 consoles. Hulu Plus is Hulu’s new subscription service offering full current season runs of hit TV programs from ABC, FOX and NBC, adding even more premium video content to the more than 23,000 movies and TV episodes already available on the PlayStation Store.
Hulu Plus Will Not Require PlayStation Plus
When Hulu Plus launches later this month the service will not require PlayStation Plus subscription, as previously thought. Hulu has gone on record and stated that “the PlayStation Plus service is only a requirement during the preview period.” Once the preview period is over, the service will be available to all PS3 users, regardless of subscription status.
Hulu On PS3 Requires PlayStation Plus Membership
Hulu will be available on the PlayStation 3 later this month, but the there’s a catch – you must be a PlayStation Plus subscriber in order to access the service. Hulu can be accessed on the PlayStation 3 through a downloadable client, much like the PlayTV application in Europe.
Hulu Coming to PS3
Hulu has announced that Hulu Plus, their newest subcription-based premium service to view TV content, is finally heading to the PS3 starting next month, with the Xbox 360 receiving the service in early 2011. The new service, which is already available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, will cost $9.99 a month.
