Heavy Rain will require a hard drive install of at least 4GB of data before you can play the game, which will take a few minutes of your time. PlayStation Home Getting Heavy Rain Space
The secret door behind the jumbo screen in the Presentation Podium Space will be opening its doors today unveiling a brand new space – The Backstage Pass. If you make it through the security door, you will be able to take part in the Heavy Rain: Evidence Analysis mini-game. If you manage to complete difficult puzzle, you will be rewarded with a special prize.
Heavy Rain Demo Available From February 11th 2010
The psychological thriller and PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain will hit stores in the US from February 23rd 2010, followed by mainland Europe from February 24th 2010 and finally the UK and Ireland from February 26th 2010. Heavy Rain Sex Scenes ‘Not Porn’
The creator of PS3 psychological thriller Heavy Rain and boss of development studio Quantic Dreams, David Cage, has defended the game’s sex scenes – insisting they are “definitely not porn”. In an exclusive interview with PSM3 Cage said that the game’s steamy moments were “about real characters doing what adults do when they fall in love”. “There are a couple [of sex scenes], but it’s definitely not porn,” he said.
Official Heavy Rain Box Art Revealed
The US Box Art for Heavy Rain has officially been revealed. Sony was also able to confirm Heavy Rain’s final ESRB rating, which is a strong M for Blood, Intense Violence, Nudity, Sexual Content, Strong Language and Use of Drugs. And for those of you who have asked, the content is exactly the same as what’s being released in all territories, so you’ll get to enjoy it exactly as Quantic Dream intended.
Heavy Rain Release Date Announced
The release date for Heavy Rain has finally been confirmed for the US and Europe. The game is currently going through some final tests and checks, but is expected to be available in the US from February 23rd 2010, followed by mainland Europe from February 24th 2010 and finally the UK and Ireland from February 26th 2010.
Qore Episode 20 Details

New Heavy Rain Footage [NSFW]
The latest footage from PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain comes from the Polish version of the game. The video shows some of the QTE (Quick Time Events) in the game and also contains some of that much talked about nudity, so be sure not to watch the video at work. Heavy Rain, due for release in 2010, is getting a special edition box as well as downloadable content, dubbed the Heavy Rain Chronicles. These are a series of additional, fully-playable scenes, where you’ll learn more about the backstory of some of the characters you’ll meet in Heavy Rain itself. The first episode will centre on Madison. In addition, the Collector’s Edition of Heavy Rain will feature a special ‘rain-effect’ slipcase, which “gives the impression of being streaked with 3D rain-drops.”
